摘要： An apparatus for heating fluids over a campfire comprises a hollow, horizontally positioned heating chamber extending between front and rear ends and having a top surface and an undersurface, the undersurface having a non-campfire exposed front end, and a campfire-exposed rear end. The apparatus further comprises at least two pairs of support members attached to the undersurface of the chamber and at a distance from the front and rear ends such that the chamber is partially suspended over the campfire when a rearmost pair of support members are placed in the campfire. A method for safely heating water in an apparatus by a campfire comprising the apparatus comprises positioning the rear end of the apparatus within the fire's perimeter and the front end outside the fire's perimeter, dispensing water from the fluid control valve on the front end and adding water to the aperture on the top surface.

摘要： An automatic carriage return for an exhaust removal system having a carriage that is configured to translate along a track tube. The automatic carriage return includes a drive cable spanning along the track tube, and an engagement assembly coupled to the carriage. A drive motor drives motion of the carriage along the drive cable when the engagement assembly is in the engaged configuration. In the disengaged configuration, the engagement assembly is configured to be disengaged from the drive cable to allow the carriage to freely follow the path of the vehicle. Upon release of the extraction hose from the vehicle, the engagement assembly is configured to automatically activate to the engaged configuration to engage the drive cable.

摘要： A retractable step alarm in a motor vehicle or trailer which includes a processor coupled to an alarm, a door sensor, vehicle operation sensors, and extended and retracted step position sensors. The alarm is activated by an enable signal sent by the processor. The extended step position sensor is positioned to detect if the steps are fully extended and the retracted step position sensor is positioned to detect if the steps are fully retracted. The processor activates the alarm means if the vehicle operation sensor indicates that the vehicle ignition is on and/or the transmission is engaged, indicative that the vehicle is bound for movement, and the retracted step position sensor indicates the steps are not fully retracted, or if the door sensor indicates the door is open and the extended step position sensor indicates the steps are not fully extended. The processor also activates the alarm means if both the extended or retracted door sensor signals are low for more than ten seconds indicating that the step is stuck partially extended or retracted and the processor activates the alarm means if both the extended or retracted door sensor signals are high indicating the step is fully retracted and extended at the same time thus indicating one or both step position sensors or wiring has failed or is damaged.

Network parameters that affect voice quality over broadband connections are rapidly detected by generating both detected and subjective alerts when problems with the quality of a IP telephone connection are detected and correcting the detected problems. Network parameters are monitored during an actual VoIP telephone call or by using synthetic traffic. If the voice quality degrades for a particular teleagent, the teleagent is removed from the pool of available agents until voice quality improves. Alternatively, the voice quality of each teleagent may be ranked according to the service provided.
