Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus of predictive maintenance of automotive lights. For example, a vehicle has: a vehicle light assembly; sensors configured on the vehicle to measure operating parameters of the vehicle light assembly; an artificial neural network configured to analyze the operating parameters of the vehicle light assembly as a function of time to generate a result; and at least one processor configured to generate a suggestion for a maintenance service of the vehicle light assembly based on the result from the artificial neural network analyzing the operating parameters of the vehicle light assembly. For example, the sensors can be configured to measure ambient light intensity, light intensity reflected by a surface illuminated by the light, current and/or voltage in the light, and/or light intensity at a location illuminated by both environment and the light.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods related to a deep learning accelerator and memory are described. For example, a data storage device may be configured to execute instructions with matrix operands and configured with: an interface to receive a video stream; and random access memory to buffer a portion of the video stream as an input to an artificial neural network and to store instructions executable by the deep learning accelerator and matrices of the artificial neural network. The deep learning accelerator can execute the instructions to generate an output of the artificial neural network, including analytics of the buffer portion. A video encoder in the data storage device may use the analytics to compress the portion of the video stream for storing in the device.

Abstract: Modifying values stored in memory cells based on process variation can include receiving process variation information for a first plurality of memory cells of a memory array. A plurality of values to be stored in the memory cells can be modified based on the process variation information. The plurality of instructions to store the plurality of values in a second plurality of memory cells can be compiled. The plurality of modified values can also be stored in a second plurality of memory cells at run time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for data handling during a reflow operation are described. The method may include a memory system receiving first signaling indicating that a reflow operation is to be performed on the memory system and determining whether an amount of data stored in a first set of memory cells within one or more memory devices of the memory system satisfy a threshold. The method may further include the memory system communicating an indication of whether the memory system is ready for the reflow operation based on the amount of data satisfying the threshold.

Abstract: Multiple artificial neural networks can be compiled as a single workload. A respective throughput for each of the artificial neural networks can be changed at runtime. The multiple artificial neural networks can be partially compiled individually and then later compiled just-in-time according to changing throughput demands for the artificial neural networks. The multiple artificial neural networks can be deployed on a deep learning accelerator hardware device.

Abstract: In some implementations, an extended reality (XR) device may receive, via an interface of the XR device, an input associated with meals of a user associated with the XR device. The XR device may determine, based on the input, a meal plan for the user of the XR device, wherein the meal plan is associated with target meals. The XR device may determine, based on recipes for the target meals, a list of food items for preparing the target meals associated with the meal plan. The XR device may provide, via the interface, the list of food items and the target meals. The XR device may provide, via the interface, an in-store navigation path to direct the user of the XR device via overlayed audio-visual cues to locations within a physical retail store to pick up the food items.

Abstract: Techniques to access memory in a systolic pattern. For example, a processor sub-system is connected between a first memory sub-system and a second memory sub-system. In response to a first clock signal, a communication direction of a first connection between the processor sub-system and the first memory sub-system is configured to receive first data in the processor sub-system from the first memory sub-system; and a communication direction of a second connection between the processor sub-system and the second memory sub-system is configured to transmit second data from the processor sub-system to the second memory sub-system. In response to a second clock signal, the communication direction of the first connection and the communication direction of the second connection are reversed.

Abstract: A method for a digital camera adaptable to monitor a scene to detect a condition of interest to a user. The digital camera can program, in a first mode, first memory cells according to first weight matrices to classify images captured by the digital camera. Second memory cells are programmed in a second mode to store data representative of the images. The digital camera can perform operations of multiplication and accumulation using the first memory cells to compute first classifications of the images. In response to mismatches between the first classifications and second classifications identified by the user for the images, the digital camera can execute instructions to determine second weight matrices and program, in the first mode, third memory cells, according to the second weight matrices for improved capability in detecting the condition represented by image classifications in a predetermined category.
