    摘要: A curable fluorosilicone resin composition is disclosed, which composition comprises(A) 100 parts by weight of a fluorosilicone resin obtained by cohydrolyzing a mixture of(a) 50 to 95 mole percent of a perfluoroalkyl-containing organosilane having the formula R--CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 SiX.sub.3,(b) 5 to 50 mole percent of an epoxy-containing organosilane having the formula Z.sub.w SiX.sub.4-w and, optionally,(c) up to 50 mole percent of an organosilane having the formula R.sup.1.sub.n SiX.sub.4-n, wherein R is a perfluoroalkyl group containing 4 to 15 carbon atoms, X is a hydrolyzable group, Z is an epoxy-containing monovalent organic group, R.sup.1 is hydrogen or a monovalent hydrocabon group containing 1 to 15 carbon atoms, w is 1, 2 or 3 and n is 0, 1, 2 or 3; and(B) 1 to 50 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent selected from the group consisting of(i) an amino group-containing organosilicon compound that contains at least 2 nitrogen-bonded active hydrogens in each molecule and(ii) a fluorine compound that contains at least 2 carboxyl groups and at least 2 fluorine atoms in each molecule. When cured, the composition provides a film that is both highly water repellent and highly oil repellent.

    摘要: A fuel control system for an engine has a fuel injector which injects fuel into an intake passage communicating with a combustion chamber. The quantity of a direct delivery part of fuel injected from the fuel injector which is directly fed to the combustion chamber is estimated, the quantity of a drawn part of fuel which has been on a wall surface of the intake passage and is vaporized and fed to the combustion chamber together with the direct delivery part is estimated, and the quantity of fuel to be injected from the fuel injection means is dcetermined on the basis of the estimated quantities of the direct delivery part and the drawn part so that the sum of them provides a desired quantity of fuel to be fed to the combustion chamber. The estimated quantity of at least one of the direct delivery part and the drawn part is increased as a factor which governs the degree of evaporation of the fuel on the wall surface changes in such a direction as to promote evaporation of the fuel on the wall surface.

Specifically disclosed is a method for suppressing the growth of a target cell, which comprises the steps of: incorporating DNA containing a region encoding a protein into the target cell, and allowing a protein encoded by the DNA to be expressed in the target cell into which the DNA has been incorporated. The region contained in the DNA comprises a tri-nucleotide sequence. The tri-nucleotide sequence is selected from codons that define at least some amino acid species constituting the protein, and is complementary to at least some codons that are used in the target cell at a frequency of 0.2 or less.

    摘要: Provided are a tripod constant velocity joint, and a method and a device for assembling the joint. The opening of a through-hole formed in an inner member of the tripod constant velocity joint has formed therein a tapered, reduced diameter section having a diameter tapered from the opening toward the inside. A first annular groove is formed in the side wall of a driving power transmission shaft, and a clip serving as an engaging member is engaged with the first annular groove. A second annular groove is formed in the inner wall of the through-hole in the inner member. In inserting the driving power transmission shaft through the through-hole in the inner member, the tapered, reduced diameter section guides the shaft in such a manner that the clip is contracted toward the bottom surface of the first annular groove. The clip expands and contracts due to the elasticity thereof when the positions of the first annular groove and the second annular groove coincide with each other.
