    Abstract: A cooling unit includes a cold plate extending in a horizontal direction, a tank defining a tank chamber that stores a refrigerant, the tank including an outer tank surface and an inner tank surface, and a pump defining a pump chamber, the pump including an outer pump surface and an inner pump surface. The pump chamber is spaced away from and outside of the tank chamber. A portion of the outer tank surface and a portion of the outer pump surface are directly adjacent to one another in the horizontal direction. The pump chamber accommodates a rotating body that transfers the refrigerant. An upper end of the tank chamber in a first direction perpendicular to the horizontal direction is positioned higher than an upper end of the pump chamber in the first direction.

    Abstract: A cooling device includes a cooling plate with a bottom wall portion with a lower surface which contacts a heat-generating component, a top wall portion which covers an upper surface of the bottom wall portion, a side wall portion which couples the bottom wall portion and the top wall portion, and an internal space which is surrounded by the bottom wall portion, the top wall portion, and the side wall portion to define a first cooling medium flow passage. The bottom wall portion includes blades on the upper surface. An inlet port or an outlet port is on one end side of the first cooling medium flow passage. An inner peripheral wall of the side wall portion includes a first bent portion which is bent convex inward between ends of the blades and the at least one of the inlet port and the outlet port.

    Abstract: A cooling device includes a cooling assembly which includes a cold plate extending in a first direction, a pump and a tank on one side of the cold plate in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a partition extending in the first direction and covering the cold plate on one side in the second direction. The cold plate and the partition define a first refrigerant flow path through which a refrigerant flows. The pump includes a pump chamber in which an impeller is housed, the impeller moving the refrigerant. The tank includes a tank chamber in which the refrigerant flows. The pump chamber and the tank chamber communicate with each other through a first tank hole portion. The partition includes a first hole portion through which the first refrigerant flow path and the tank chamber communicate. The first tank hole portion is provided on one side in the first direction with respect to the first hole portion.

    Abstract: A blower includes an impeller rotatable about a central axis, a motor that drives the impeller, and a housing that accommodates the impeller and the motor. The impeller includes a plurality of vanes arrayed in a circumferential direction and a flange in which the plurality of vanes are provided at an outer circumferential edge on a radially outer side. The housing includes a first housing that faces a vane lower end surface located on an axial-direction lower side of the vane with a gap interposed therebetween. The vane lower end surface includes a first vane end surface in which a shortest distance to the first housing in an axial direction increases toward the radially outer side.

    Abstract: A cooling apparatus includes an impeller, a motor, a base portion, and a motor circuit board. The impeller includes a plurality of blades and a blade support portion. Of the plurality of blades, at least one pair of circumferentially adjacent blades are arranged to have a channel defined therebetween, the channel extending from axially upper edges to axially lower edges of the blades, and being arranged to be open toward the upper surface of the base portion. The base portion includes a heat source contact portion with which a heat source is to be in contact. At least one of the blades includes a blade edge opposed portion having an axially lower edge arranged opposite to the upper surface of the base portion. An outermost edge portion of the motor circuit board is arranged radially inward of a radially inner end portion of the blade edge opposed portion.

    Abstract: A heat module includes a fan, a heat sink, a heat transfer member, and a plurality of connection portions. The heat transfer member includes a lower surface capable of being in thermal contact with a heat source, and an upper surface thermally connected to the heat sink, and is arranged to overlap with at least a portion of the fan in a plan view. The plurality of connection portions are arranged between the heat transfer member and the housing to define an axial gap between an upper surface of the heat transfer member and a lower surface of the lower plate portion. The heat transfer member includes a heat source contact portion arranged on a side, closer to the fan, of an end portion of the fan at which the air outlet is defined.
