摘要: In one embodiment, an apparatus includes: a table to store a plurality of entries, each entry to identify a memory domain of a system and a coherency status of the memory domain; and a control circuit coupled to the table. The control circuit may be configured to receive a request to change a coherency status of a first memory domain of the system, and dynamically update a first entry of the table for the first memory domain to change the coherency status between a coherent memory domain and a non-coherent memory domain, in response to the request. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: An apparatus and/or system is described including a memory device including a memory range and a temporal data management unit (TDMU) coupled to the memory device to receive from an interface, the memory range and a temporal range corresponding to validity of data in the memory range, check the temporal range against a time and/or date value provided by a timer or clock to identify the data in the memory range as expired, and invalidate the data that is expired in the memory device. In some embodiments, the TDMU includes hardware logic that resides on a memory module with the memory device and is coupled to invalidate expired data when the memory module is decoupled from the interface. Other embodiments may be disclosed and claimed.

摘要: Data that is to be processed by a particular service executed by a first edge computing device in an application, is analyzed to determine characteristics of the data. An opportunity to replicate the particular service on a plurality of edge computing devices is determined based on characteristics of the data. A second edge computing device is determined to be available to execute a replicated instance of the particular service. Replication of the particular service is initiated on a plurality of edge computing devices including the second edge computing device. An output of an instance of the particular service executed on the first edge computing device and an output of the replicated instance of the particular service executed on the second edge computing device are combined to form a single output for the particular service.

摘要: Various approaches for deploying and using virtual pools of compute resources with the use of infrastructure processing units (IPUs) and similar networked processing units are disclosed. A host computing system may be configured to operate a virtual pool of resources, with operations including: identifying, at the host computing system, availability of a resource at the host computing system; transmitting, to a network infrastructure device, a notification that the resource at the host computing system is available for use in a virtual resource pool in the edge computing network; receiving a request for the resource in the virtual resource pool that is provided on behalf of a client computing system, based on the request being coordinated via the network infrastructure device and includes at least one quality of service (QoS) requirement; and servicing the request for the resource, based on the at least one QoS requirement.

摘要: Technologies for quality of service based throttling in a fabric architecture include a network node of a plurality of network nodes interconnected across the fabric architecture via an interconnect fabric. The network node includes a host fabric interface (HFI) configured to facilitate the transmission of data to/from the network node, monitor quality of service levels of resources of the network node used to process and transmit the data, and detect a throttling condition based on a result of the monitored quality of service levels. The HFI is further configured to generate and transmit a throttling message to one or more of the interconnected network nodes in response to having detected a throttling condition. The HFI is additionally configured to receive a throttling message from another of the network nodes and perform a throttling action on one or more of the resources based on the received throttling message. Other embodiments are described herein.

摘要: System and techniques for power-based adaptive hardware reliability on a device are described herein. A hardware platform is divided into multiple partitions. Here, each partition includes a hardware component with an adjustable reliability feature. The several partitions are placed into one of multiple reliability categories. A workload with a reliability requirement is obtained and executed on a partition in a reliability category that satisfies the reliability requirements. A change in operating parameters for the device is detected and the adjustable reliability feature for the partition is modified based on the change in the operating parameters of the device.

A method may include processing a captured image to determine whether an event has occurred. The method may include detecting that the event has occurred by comparing an attribute of the image with a selected criterion, and sending, in response to detecting the event, an activation function to a network interface component (NIC). The NIC may be at a remote device, such as in an edge appliance, in a remote image capture device, or the like. The activation function may activate a bit-stream corresponding to the event, such as to activate an accelerator.

摘要: Technologies for providing network interface support for remote memory and storage failover protection include a compute node. The compute node includes a memory to store one or more protected resources and a network interface. The network interface is to receive, from a requestor node in communication with the compute node, a request to access one of the protected resources. The request identifies the protected resource by a memory address. Additionally, the network interface is to determine an identity of the requestor node and determine, as a function of the identity and permissions data associated with the memory address, whether the requestor node has permission to access the protected resource. For example, a packet that includes a service request for a service may be received at a networking infrastructure device. The service may include an application that spans multiple nodes in a network. An outbound interface of the networking infrastructure device may be selected through which to route the packet. The selection of the outbound interface may be based on a service component of the service request in the packet and network metrics that correspond to the service. The packet may then be transmitted using the outbound interface.

摘要: Various approaches for configuring interleaving in a memory pool used in an edge computing arrangement, including with the use of infrastructure processing units (IPUs) and similar networked processing units, are disclosed. An example system may discover and map disaggregated memory resources at respective compute locations connected to each another via at least one interconnect. The system may identify workload requirements for use of the compute locations by respective workloads, for workloads provided by client devices to the compute locations. The system may determine an interleaving arrangement for a memory pool that fulfills the workload requirements, to use the interleaving arrangement to distribute data for the respective workloads among the disaggregated memory resources. The system may configure the memory pool for use by the client devices of the network, as the memory pool causes the disaggregated memory resources to host data based on the interleaving arrangement.
