摘要: A method for enabling voice driven interactions among multiple interactive voice response (IVR) systems begins by receiving a telephone call from a user of a first IVR system to begin a transaction; and, automatically contacting, by the first IVR system, at least one additional IVR system. Specifically, the contacting of the additional IVR system includes assigning tasks to the additional IVR system. The tasks require input from the user and the additional IVR system is secure and separate from the first IVR system. Moreover, the tasks can include a transfer of currency and a transfer of local information.

摘要: A method, apparatus and computer-readable medium is disclosed for prominent selection cues for icons. When an icon is in focus, and after expiration of a predetermined period of time, the icon can be displayed more prominently, e.g., display a larger representation of the icon, thereby increasing the icon's visibility. The icon can be displayed more prominently after the icon remains in focus for a predetermined amount of time. This functionality can be advantageous in applications having limited display area, such as on portable media players and mobile devices. Accordingly, the smaller display area of such devices is used more effectively by using prominent selection cues for navigating and displaying information.

摘要: A vehicle exterior lamp is provided with an array of light emitting diodes (LEDs) with rows and columns and each LED positioned at an intersection thereof. An LED is illuminated by selectively applying a signal to the row and column corresponding to the LED position. A vehicle headlamp lighting system is provided with an array of LEDs with rows and columns, and each LED positioned at a row and column intersection. The lighting system has a control module for selectively illuminating the LEDs by applying a signal to the rows and to the columns corresponding to the location of the LEDs to be illuminated. A vehicle headlamp is provided with an optical structure for reflection and refraction of light and LEDs. Light emitted by the LEDs interacts with the optical structure and exits the headlamp in a generally perpendicular direction to the LED emitted light.

摘要: Progressive evaluation of predicate expressions in streaming XPath processor. A method for evaluating multiple XPath predicate expressions of multiple XPath queries includes identifying includes determining hit of a location path in a SAX event. All XPath predicate expressions of all XPath queries corresponding to the location path are then identified. All leaf nodes in the XPath predicate expressions corresponding to the location path are then determined. Thereafter, storage of nearest parent nodes of the leaf nodes is checked. Each nearest parent node is a first parent node which is encountered while moving from a leaf node towards a root node in an XPath predicate expression and which requires storage for storing intermediate Boolean result. Results of parent nodes of the leaf nodes are the determined based on the checking. Thereafter, the results of the parent nodes are stored if the results of the parent nodes are Boolean results. Further, results of root nodes of the XPath predicate expressions are determined by progressively evaluating subsequent parent nodes of the parent node.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a system and method of distributing digital content to authenticated users, such as on-line subscribers, wherein all interested parties, such as, but not limited to, publishers, editors, content providers, affiliates, payment processors, and service providers, are credited automatically for their contributions in such as manner as to be perceived as being fair, transparent, and resistant to abuse. The system and method may include a digital rights management system, but this is not required. The system supports a unique method of accounting that provides appropriate incentives to editors and affiliates, as well as publishers, with facilities for specifying a set of flexible parameters that enable automated payment, accounting, reporting, and administrative functions needed to support secure, subscription-based on-line publications. Such a system can be the basis for sharing revenues from subscriptions and/or advertising, or in a non-commercial context it can provide a useful, trustworthy metric for assessing the relative merit of individual contributors to a shared repository of information.

摘要: A method, computer program product, and data processing system for detecting and identifying data crossover errors in servlet code are disclosed. According to a preferred embodiment, techniques of aspect-oriented programming (AOP) are used to instrument JAVA Servlet code to detect potential data crossover errors. Specifically, pointcuts are defined to intercept both the association follow an object with a particular session and the “getting” and “setting” of such objects. Advice code associated with these pointcuts is used to update and/or consult a “collator” data structure, which is used to determine if an object or variable associated with one session is being accessed by a different session. In a preferred embodiment, the AspectJ aspect-oriented programming language/system is used to define the pointcuts and advice code.
