Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives a first channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) on a first set of beams and receives a second CSI-RS on a second set of beams. The apparatus determines a channel quality indicator (CQI), a rank indicator (RI), and a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) based on the first CSI-RS. The apparatus reports the CQI and RI using an uplink control channel and indicates the PMI using a precoded SRS transmission. The precoded SRS transmission may be precoded based on a dissimilarity between the first CSI-RS and the second CSI-RS. The first CSI-RS may include a defined precoder, and the second CSI-RS may include a precoder based on an uplink channel estimate of a non-precoded SRS from the UE.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration that indicates a first control resource set (CORESET) configured for a first category of UEs and a second CORESET configured for a second category of UEs with which the UE is associated, wherein the first CORESET has a first frequency domain resource allocation, and wherein the second CORESET overlaps in time with the first CORESET and has a second frequency domain resource allocation that is a subset of the first frequency domain resource allocation. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for handling of radio frequency front-end group delays (GDs) for round trip time (RTT) estimation. In an aspect, a network entity determines information indicating a network total GD and a user equipment (UE) determines information indicating a UE total GD. The network entity transmits one or more RTT measurement (RTTM) signals to the UE, each including a RTTM waveform. The UE determines one or more one or more RTT response (RTTR) payloads for one or more RTTR signals, each including a RTTR waveform. The UE transmits the RTTR signal(s) to the network entity. For each RTTR signal, a transmission time of the RTTR waveform and/or the RTTR payload is/are determined based on the UE total GD. The network entity determines a RTT between the UE and the network entity based on the RTTM signal(s), the RTTR signal(s), and the information indicating the network total GD.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for variable spreading factor codes for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA). In an exemplary method, a base station assigns, from a first codebook of N short code sequences of length K, a subset of the short code sequences to a number of user equipments (UEs); receives a signal including uplink data or control signals from two or more of the UEs, wherein a first uplink data or control signal is sent using a first subsequence of one of the assigned short code sequences, and a second uplink data or control signal is sent using a second subsequence of one of the assigned short code sequences or using one of the assigned short code sequences; and decodes each uplink data or control signal in the signal based on the assigned short code sequences and subsequences of the assigned the short code sequences.

The UE may receive a signal triggering transmission of an aperiodic reference signal during the downlink transmission. The UE may determine whether the UE supports search space sharing. The UE may perform, upon determining that the UE supports search space sharing, rate matching around the aperiodic reference signal.
