    摘要: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are disclosed for downlink resource allocation associated with a shared frequency band. A WTRU may receive resource allocation information associated with a component carrier and at least one carrier segment. The component carrier and the least one carrier segment may each comprise a plurality of resource block groups (RBG). At least two bitmaps may be associated with the resource allocation information. A size of a resource block group (RBG) of the component carrier and the at least one carrier segment may be based on a combined number of resource blocks (RB) of the component carrier and the one or more carrier segments divided by a 3GPP Rel-8/Rel-10 RBG size of the component carrier. The WTRU may determine at least one RBG allocated to the WTRU using the resource allocation information and may receive and decode the at least one RBG allocated to the WTRU.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for sounding reference signals (SRS) configuration and transmission. The methods include receiving configuration of wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU)-specific SRS subframes for transmitting SRS and upon receipt of a trigger, transmitting the SRS for a number of antennas. The SRS transmissions may occur in each subframe of a duration of WTRU-specific SRS subframes that start a number of WTRU-specific SRS subframes after a triggering subframe. For multiple SRS transmissions from multiple antennas, cyclic shift multiplexing and different transmission combs may be used. The cyclic shift for an antenna may be determined from a cyclic shift reference value. The cyclic shift determined for each antenna providing a maximum distance between cyclic shifts for the antennas transmitting SRS in a same WTRU-specific subframe. SRS transmissions from multiple antennas in the WTRU-specific subframe may be done in parallel. Methods for handling collisions between SRS and physical channels are presented.

    摘要: A method and system for an enhanced uplink (EU) operation in a wireless communication system during soft handover. The system comprises a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), at least two Node-Bs, and a radio network controller (RNC). One Node-B may be designated as a primary Node-B, and the primary Node-B may control EU operation during soft handover including uplink scheduling and hybrid automatic repeat request (H-ARQ). Soft buffer corruption is avoided during soft handover by controlling H-ARQ by the primary Node-B. Alternatively, an RNC may control EU operation during soft handover including H-ARQ. In this case, an RNC generates final acknowledge/non-acknowledge (ACK/NACK) decision based on the error check results of the Node-Bs.
