    Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for effectively exchanging information between nodes in a wireless communication system. A communication method for a user equipment (UE) may include: sending a mobility management entity (MME) a power saving mode request message containing information requesting a different network entity to perform proxy transmission and reception for the UE during power saving mode; receiving information indicating availability of power saving mode and corresponding parameters from the MME; and operating in power saving mode according to the received parameters. It is possible to provide an information transmission method for a user equipment remaining in power saving mode.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for controlling congestion in a mobile communication system. A method for controlling congestion of a network node according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving congestion-related information from at least one base station; transmitting a user equipment information request message for making a request for information on a piece of user equipment corresponding to the base station to a mobility management entity; receiving a user equipment information response message including the information on the user equipment corresponding to the base station from the mobility management entity; and transmitting the information on the piece of user equipment corresponding to the base station to another core network node.

    Abstract: A method for selecting an access network in a terminal of a mobile communication system according to one embodiment of the present specification comprises the steps of: if traffic is generated in the terminal, selecting an access network according to the characteristics of the generated traffic and network selection policy information; and transmitting and receiving the generated traffic via the selected access network. According to the embodiment, the present invention adjusts priorities of accesses given to users and applications in a wireless communication system including heterogenerous networks, thereby reducing processes for reselecting an access network of a user terminal, and reducing the cases of unnecessarily accessing a network having a low priority or requiring high costs for a long time. Therefore, the present invention can enhance user convenience and improve communication efficiency.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for transmitting data to user equipment through not only a current base station cell but also a neighboring base station cell via inter-eNB CA in a wireless communication system.     Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services.Methods and apparatuses provide a service to user equipment through a dedicated core network. In one method, a base station, also referred to as eNB, receives a non-access stratum (NAS) message from user equipment (UE), and transmits a first initial UE message having the NAS message to a first mobility management entity (MME). Also, the base station receives a redirection request message having the NAS message from the first MME, and transmits a second initial UE message having the NAS message to a second MME. In another method, the MME receives the first initial UE message having the NAS message from the base station, and transmits the redirection request message having the NAS message when the MME fails to support a dedicated core network according to UE usage type information. If the redirection request message is transmitted, a second initial UE message having the NAS message is transmitted to a dedicated MME.
