摘要: Convergence of a 5th-Generation communication system supporting higher data rates beyond 4th-Generation system(s) with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT) may be applied to intelligent services. Operator specific services are permitted and provided by allowing an unauthorized terminal to search for and access the such services, and includes notifying a terminal of information corresponding to “operator specific services” by allowing a base station to broadcast predetermined information, displaying information acquired by a terminal, matching information acquired by the terminal with information broadcast from a base station to arrange services, requesting access and notifying a terminal performs an access for “operator specific services” upon accessing a network, providing a menu for determining whether neighboring base stations are capable of “operator specific services” to a user of a terminal, and allowing the terminal to determine whether there is the base station broadcasting the information.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. The disclosure discloses a terminal including a transmission and reception unit and at least one processor. The at least one processor controls the transmission and reception unit so that the transmission and reception unit receives a message such as an SMS, an MMS, or an OTT including event download information from a communication operator server, searches for event download information from the received message such as the SMS, the MMS, or the OTT, transmits the event download information to another terminal if necessary, and receives an event from a profile server with reference to the event download information.

摘要: A method and apparatus for providing a communication service by installing an eSIM profile even in a terminal to which an iSSP is applied. The method comprises: detecting whether information is input information for eSIM profile download input information from a terminal to which an iSSP is applied, and determining whether the terminal supports the same. Collecting eSIM bundle information of the iSSP by the terminal; selecting an eSIM bundle to be used by referring to a condition designated by the terminal from among the collected eSIM bundles; if there is no bundle to be used or when it is determined that no eSIM bundle is used among existing eSIM bundles, generating an eSIM bundle by the terminal itself or providing an eSIM bundle via communication with the terminal and a server; and on the basis of eSIM bundle information, downloading and installing an eSIM profile package.

摘要: A profile downloading method and apparatus is provided for a terminal to download and install a profile in a communication system. The communication method of the terminal includes transmitting a first message including information on a profile to be received from a profile provision server; receiving a second message including information indicating whether an encryption code input is required and a first modified encryption code; generating, when the first modified encryption code is successfully authenticated, a second modified encryption code; transmitting to the profile provision server a third message including information requesting to the profile provision server for the second modified encryption code and profile download, and receiving a fourth message including information on the profile from the profile provision server.

More particularly, a method and an apparatus for remotely installing or removing mobile communication subscriber information in/from a profile of a terminal are provided. The terminal can remotely download the profile from a network server (subscription manager data preparation (SM-DP) or subscription manager secure routing (SM-SR)) without any change in a mobile network operator information technology (IT) system interface rather than downloading the profile of the terminal by the network server.

摘要: Provided are a communication method and system that integrate 5G communication systems with IoT technologies to support higher data rates after 4G systems. The present disclosure is based on 5G communication technologies and IoT related technologies, and may be applied to intelligent services (e.g. smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart or connected cars, health care, digital education, retail, and security and safety).There is provided a method of profile downloading for a terminal. The method may include: transmitting a first profile download request to a profile providing server; receiving unencrypted first profile information from the profile providing server; checking whether there is an input for consenting to profile downloading after receiving unencrypted profile information; and determining whether to download an encrypted profile on the basis of the check result. There is also provided a terminal capable of performing the above method. In addition, there are provided a profile providing server and an operation method therefor for delivering a profile to the above terminal.
