Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). Embodiments herein disclose a method for performing random access channel procedure by a UE (300). The method includes determining a first measurement metric value and a second measurement metric value for one of a plurality of SSBs and a plurality of CSI-RSs. The method includes selecting one of a first set of SSBs and a first set of CSI-RSs from one of the plurality of SSBs and the plurality of CSI-RSs based on the first measurement metric. The method selects a second set of SSBs and a second set of CSI-RSs from one of the first set of SSBs and the first set of CSI-RSs based on the second measurement metric and determines a selection criteria and selects one of at least one candidate SSBs and at least one candidate CSI-RS from one of the second set of SSBs and the second set of CSI-RSs based on the selection criteria.-

The method includes receiving channel quality indicator (CQI) reports, pre-coding matrix index (PMI) reports, and rank index (RI) reports of first frequency band of a plurality of frequency bands in the wireless network, storing the CQI reports, the PMI reports, and the RI reports of the first frequency band, and predicting the CQI, the PMI and the RI of a second frequency band of the plurality of frequency bands associated with the UE based on the CQI reports, the PMI reports, and the RI reports of the first frequency band.

Abstract: A method for managing scheduling performance of bearers by a base station in a wireless network is provided. The method includes determining a configured packet delay budget (PDB) of non-guaranteed bit rate (NGBR) bearers and a configured PDB of guaranteed bit rate (GBR) bearers; monitoring a PDB of the NGBR bearers and a PDB of the GBR bearers during data communication; determining an average of quality-of-service class identifier (QCI) divergence of the NGBR bearers and an average of QCI divergence of the GBR bearers, wherein the QCI divergence of a bearer is a percentage variation between a monitored PDB and a configured PDB of the bearer; and controlling resource allocation parameters for minimizing the average of QCI divergence of the NGBR bearers and the average of QCI divergence of the GBR bearers.

Abstract: An example method for managing a UAV control operation includes periodically receiving a request for transmission of UAV assistance information from a network entity and establishing a radio resource control (RRC) connection with the network entity. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to wireless communication system and more particularly relates to the design of handover procedures for multi TRP system for a mobile station and other devices. Multi TRP per cell or cell less or cell free architecture removes the boundaries of the cell. A method of handover for a UE in a multi TRP system comprising selecting a set of candidate TRPs for the UE for a handover operation and receiving a measurement report from the UE. The source node determines a trigger for handover of the UE in response to the measurement report and compares a configuration of the source node with a configuration of a candidate TRP from the set of candidate TRPs. The source node triggers a handover command to perform a handover operation for the UE with at least one candidate TRP based on a result of the comparison.

A method and system for managing data transmission in a communication network is provided. During Data Resource Bearer (DRB) creation, network signals to a transmitting node, the data transfer requirement. The network uses a signaling parameter to indicate a large data transfer requirement. Based on the data transfer requirement information collected from the network, the transmitting node determines the type of data format that needs to be used for the data transmission. If the network signals large data transfer requirement, then the transmitting node selects a Subheader format in which the length field of the data format suits the large data transfer requirement. Further, data communication is initiated using the selected Subheader format.
