摘要: The present invention concerns a tungsten carbide base cutting tools formed on sintered hard alloy substrate material. Multiple hard coatings are deposited on the Co-enriched surface layers of the substrate material, and a maximum value of the Co concentration in a layer occurs within a distance of 50 .mu.m of the external surface of the substrate material, and this surface layer region is referred to as the denuded zone because the surface region is substantially free of carbides, carbonitrides and nitrides of Ti, Ta, and Nb containing W. The multilayer coating consists of a primary coating of TiCN, a secondary coating of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and the surface coating consisting of at least one of TiCN and TiN. The interface between the substrate material and the primary coating is provided with a first intermediate coating consisting of TiN. The interface between the primary coating and the secondary coating is provided with a second intermediate coating consisting of at least one layer of TiC, TiCO and TiCNO.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for cache lock control are designed for use with a cache memory. The cache memory has divided entries each for storing data and cache lock information. Updating of data in each of the entries of the cache memory is controlled in response to cache priority order information in each of the entries of the cache memory.

摘要: An electronic equipment has a cooling structure in which air discharged from heat sinks can be recovered without any leakage and compact blow ducts and discharge ducts are disposed in a narrow space. A supply opening and a discharge opening for cooling air are independently formed in a heat sink. A plurality of supply branched ducts and discharge branched ducts are combined in a comb-like shape along the axis of the ducts. Ejection openings for cooling air are formed on each of the supply branched ducts in positions corresponding to each of the heat sinks. Such ejection openings are closely connected to the supply openings for cooling air of the heat sinks. On the other hand, recovery openings for cooling air are formed on each of the refrigerant discharge ducts in a position corresponding to each of the heat sinks. Such recovery openings are closely connected to the discharge openings for gas refrigerant of the heat sinks.

摘要: A method and apparatus for cache lock control are designed for use with a cache memory. The cache memory contains a number of data entries, each divided into segments for storing address information, data, and a cache lock bit, respectively. The cache lock bit, when set in a data entry, prevents updating the address and data in that data entry. An address translator is provided for converting virtual memory addresses to physical addresses. The address translator includes address entries which include at least one segment for storing cache lock information, and cache lock information is transferred from the address translator to the cache memory.

摘要: A hand dryer in which a channel-like hand insertion unit 5 opening at the front face and side faces is formed in the front face of a case 6 which functions as an outer shell. Upper and lower blowout nozzles 32 and 33 are disposed in the upper and lower faces of the hand insertion unit 5. A high-pressure air flow generation device 7 supplies high-pressure air flow to the blowout nozzles 32 and 33. A high-speed wind generated in the hand insertion unit 5 blows water on hands to the inner portion of the hand insertion unit 5. The blown water is drained to the outside of the hand insertion unit 5, through drainage holes 18 which are disposed at lateral ends of the bottom face of the hand insertion unit 5. Thereby, the blown water from the hands can be smoothly drained without remaining in the hand insertion unit.

摘要: The present invention relates to a reaction product of a tetraalkoxysilane or a silicate oligomer obtained by its partial hydrolysis-dehydration-polycondensation, with an amino alcohol having one or two hydroxyl groups, and a dehydrating agent comprising such a reaction product. The dehydrating agent of the present invention is suitable for dehydrating a moisture at a level of a few hundreds ppm. Further, since an amino alcohol is formed by the dehydration, it is particularly useful as a dehydrating agent for a raw material for the production of a urethane resin or an epoxy resin.

摘要: A screen printing device and screen printing method in which, in screen printing which is to be applied to a cavity circuit board configured by bonding board members together, printing misalignment hardly occurs. A mask member has a cavity-portion corresponding mask region MRC where a mask pattern MPC corresponding to cavity-portion electrode patterns is formed on the bottom faces of fitting portions to be fitted into cavity portions CV; and a flat-portion corresponding mask region MRF where a mask pattern MPF corresponding to flat-portion electrode patterns is formed as separate regions. Positioning between the cavity-portion corresponding mask region MRC and the cavity-portion electrode patterns is performed, and screen printing is applied. Positioning between the flat-portion corresponding mask region MRF and the flat-portion electrode patterns is performed, and screen printing is applied.
