    摘要: Systems and methods for aggregating user feedback associated with digital media files is provided. User feedback is received from a user that includes metadata which may correspond to a digital media file. A batch of such user feedback is received and may be filtered to discard any low quality user feedback entries. It then may be determined whether a user feedback entry corresponds to an existing metadata record stored as aggregated feedback. If not, the new user feedback entry is added to the aggregated feedback. If there is an existing metadata record which corresponds to the user feedback entry, the metadata contained in the entry may be used to edit the existing metadata record.

    摘要: The invention provides a method of controlling biological fouling of water containing items. The method involves combining at least two reactants, a peroxygen source and an acyl group donor to form peracetic acid. Because the peracetic acid can be made in situ, the entire sum of its short lifespan can be used controlling biocidal fouling and storage and transport is simplified. The invention further facilitates the ease of controlling biocidal fouling by allowing the injection of the biocidal agent in liquid form, in a non-acidic environment, and without the need for any halogen. This allows the inventive biocide to be used with chemistries for which prior art biocides are inapplicable.

    摘要: Aspects of the present invention are directed to converting non-oscillatory combinational loops into acyclic circuits. Combinational loops may be modeled as state-holding elements where non-oscillatory loops are broken using edge-sensitive latches. In addition to providing a way to model combinational loops originally consisting only of gates (i.e., without originally including any state-holding elements), loops that have paths through user latches may also be converted. The presented methodology may be used with both small and large loops.

    摘要: A plate system is used in a surgical procedure to manage a distal radius or similar bone fracture. A plate of the plate system includes two leg segments extending downwardly from a generally horizontal segment, and further includes an elongated slot defined through the center of the horizontal segment of the plate near its top edge. A subchondral support element is inserted through the elongated slot and is advanced into the bone. The plate further defines two holes through the horizontal segment near a respective one of the two leg segments. Locking screws, such as variable angle locking screws, are inserted into and locked into the respective holes, with each locking screw advancing into the bone such that a distal tip of each locking screw engages the subchondral support element, thus providing a three-point support.

    摘要: Embodiments provide an independent layer between an application user interface and various data sources so that both the user interface and data sources can be added to, removed, or modified without affecting the other. The independent layer provides scalability to allow data sources and data providers to be plugged into a system in an easy manner. In one or more embodiments, the independent layer provides a common set of query APIs that can be used by client applications to make queries on one or more data sources. The independent layer then communicates the queries to one or more data providers associated with individual data sources. Queries are executed on the data sources and results are returned back up through the data providers and independent layer for consumption by a client application. In at least some embodiments, the client application comprises a web browser that makes use of the independent layer.

The status of the contacts is monitored to detect availability of the contacts, and to determine when the contacts are available concurrently to participate in the communications session. A notification is sent to a tagging user of the concurrent availability of the contacts, at which time a meeting can be initiated. A context can be input that serves as a reminder as to the purpose of the communications session. The context can be presented in the notification with the availability status of the contacts. The status can be monitored by subscribing to presence information of the contacts. A contact list can be maintained to identify the contacts to be tagged and includes metadata related to each contact.
