摘要: A transaxle casing for a vehicle is adapted for various types of loading through the use of bearing holders. Power from an engine of the vehicle is transmitted to a differential in a transaxle casing. The transaxle casing has laterally outwardly extending left and right axle housing portions. Left and right driving axles are supported in the axle housing portions of the transaxle casing through bearings. Concavities are formed in each of the axle housing portions. When the transaxle casing is employed by a light vehicle or under a light load, needle bearings and seals are fitted in the concavities of the axle housing portions for journalling the ends of the left and right driving axles. When the transaxle casing is employed by a heavy vehicle or under a heavy load, the needle bearings and seals are removed and bearing holders containing ball bearings are attached to the ends of the axle housing portions by inserting convexities formed in the bearing holders into the concavities of the axle housing portions.

摘要: For achieving an air conditioner being applicable to various a-c source voltages in common and operative with high power factor by suppressing generation of high harmonics, an a-c source voltage from an a-c electric power source 1 is rectified in full-wave by a rectifier 2, and a d-c source voltage Ed of an inverter 13 is obtained by being charged in a condenser 5. Here, there are a-c source voltages of 100 V and 200 V, and a divided voltage Ed1 of the d-c voltage of the condenser 5 is selected when the a-c source voltage is 100 V, a divided voltage Ed2 (here, Ed1>Ed1) of the d-c voltage of the condenser 5 is selected when the a-c source voltage is 200 V, respectively by an exchange switch 18, and is used as a d-c voltage Ed' for controlling on and off of a switch element 6. Though the d-c source voltage Ed differs depending on the a-c source voltage of 100 V or 200 V, it is possible to set the d-c source voltage Ed at a voltage value for operating the inverter 13 with low loss and high efficiency, for each one of the a-c source voltages, by setting a ratio of the voltage division appropriately.

摘要: A process for preparing a composite foamed molded article according to the invention includes the steps of setting a skin material in the vicinity of an upper mold for stamping-mold kept at a temperature of 10 to 50.degree. C.; feeding a molten polypropylene resin composition for a substrate containing a foaming agent kept at a temperature of not lower than a decomposition temperature of the foaming agent and within the range of 180 to 240.degree. C. onto a surface of a lower mold for stamping-mold kept at a temperature of 30 to 80.degree. C.; closing the mold within 10 seconds after feeding of the composition to clamp the molds at a pressure of 20 to 70 kg/cm.sup.2 ; lifting the upper mold before a thickness of each of hardened layers formed on both surfaces of the composition layer reaches 1.0 mm to open the mold at a distance between the upper mold and lower mold of 1.1 to 2 times of a thickness of a flat portion having neither boss nor rib in the composition layer, thereby to foam the composition; and cooling the foamed substrate layer made of the polypropylene resin composition to harden the substrate layer. The composite foamed molded articles thus obtained is lightweight and has high rigidity.

摘要: A flash photography system for a photographic camera and a flash device adapted to be connected thereto with the camera providing an aperture value output for flash light photography and a flash light stop signal obtained from an integrated output of the light reflected from a photographic object to terminate flash light emission when the integrated value reaches a predetermined value. The flash device calculates a maximum photographing distance covered by the flash light for effecting a correct exposure of the photographic object from the maximum flash light value and the aperture value from the camera. The maximum photographing distance is displayed by a suitable display visible to the camera operator.
