    摘要: A ROM embedded in a multi-layered integrated circuit includes rows of transistor memory cells. For reduced area, each transistor in a row optionally shares a terminal with an adjacent transistor in the row, whereby adjacent transistors share one of a source and a drain. A plurality of contact lines one each connected to each common terminal, serve as address terminals for cells. A plurality of metal layers are connected to the other of the drain or source terminals by filled vias and include a final metal layer defining a metal pad for each of the other terminals. Filled vias couple selected metal pads to selected signal lines to provide “1” outputs from selected cells and signal lines which are not coupled by filled vias to the metal pads provide “0” outputs from selected cells.

    摘要: A multiple hole, preferably a two hole spray dispensing system and sprayer in which colliding streams of viscous fluid are dispensed to the atmosphere are provided. The spray dispenser includes a reservoir for storing a fluid product. An aerosol or manually pressurized dispensing system preferably a hand held dispensing system may be used. Liquid is delivered from the reservoir under pressure to a delivery passageway. A nozzle having two or more outlets to the atmosphere is mounted to the delivery passageway to provide colliding streams of liquid. Baffles are provided to disrupt the flow of liquid in the stream prior to the collision of the streams to provide an improved spray pattern.

    摘要: An opening roof for a vehicle having an opening in the fixed roof comprises a frame to be mounted around the opening, and a flexible cover for selectively closing or disposing the opening. A cover plate is fixed to the front side of the cover and is guided at its lateral ends through glide shoes in guide rails extending along either side of the opening in longitudinal direction of the frame. The opening roof is provided with an electric motor and drive cables coupled to the cover plate in order to slide it for opening and closing the opening roof. A displacement mechanism is arranged between the cover plate and the glide shoes, onto which the drive cables act for tightening the cover plate in a forward and downward direction relative to the glide shoes during the final closing movement.

    摘要: A system for implementing accurate V/Hz value measurement and trip time determination for generator/transformer overexcitation protection independent of the conventional frequency tracking and phasor estimation based on Discrete Fourier Transformation (DFT) techniques. A sampled sinusoidal voltage signal is passed through a digital integrator and the magnitude of the digital integrator's output is measured as representative of the V/Hz ratio. The digital integrator is implemented in software using a difference equation in a generator protection unit. The technique may be used with either a fixed or a variable sampling frequency. When the sampling frequency is variable, the filter coefficients of the digital integrator are recalculated on-line each time the sampling frequency is changed, and a new value for the peak magnitude of the output of the digital integrator is calculated using the recalculated filter coefficients. Non-linear frequency response characteristics of the voltage sensors and non-ideal characteristics of the digital integrator are also adjusted using the measured frequency and error-frequency characteristics of the particular digital integrator and voltage sensors used.

    摘要: An improved technique for the active control of various combustion devices. This improved technique employs a flame kernel pulse actuator which produces periodic flame kernels by a spark ignition of a stoichiometric air and fuel mixture upstream of the combustion chamber. The discrete flame kernels are convected in a duct of premixed fuel and air which produce discrete pressure oscillations due to the energy release as each discrete flame propagates. Because the source of the energy release is essentially a chemical reaction, the flame kernel pulse actuator is able to produce a substantial amount of energy release even at the high operating pressures which are often encountered in many operational environments. These pressure oscillations may be adjusted to suppress or augment any combustion induced pressure oscillations as well as act to modulate the mixing layer between the fuel and air, thus controlling the downstream combustion process.The flame kernel pulse actuator comprises an actuator housing, a secondary fuel injection system, and an igniter. The combination of the igniter and fuel injection system produces a plurality of discrete flame kernels which are convected downstream toward the combustion chamber. The present flame kernel pulse actuator further includes a pressure sensor which is positioned so as to measure the acoustic oscillations in the combustion chamber and a controller device which uses the output of the sensor to control the frequency, phase shift, and amplitude of the discrete flame kernels.

    摘要: A domestic refrigerator control arrangement for automatically defrosting the cabinet with a minimum of cycle time while obviating the buildup of frost within the cold air conduits. A defrost heater is located at the frontal area of the evaporator coils and the defrost thermostat on the rearward edge of the cross fins coil assembly in the air stream of the air circulating fan sensing the temperature of the air exiting the evaporator. The fan is wired in series with the defrost thermostat and operates upon the energization of the defrost heater, while being deenergized upon the opening of the defrost thermostat contacts at the end of the defrost period. The fan remains in its off position until the defrost thermostat recloses, insuring that moisture-laden air is not distributed throughout the refrigerator.
