    摘要: An apparatus for detecting the collision of a vehicle to produce a signal indicating the collision, which signal is adapted to actuate a safety device, such an apparatus having a pair of rotatable rigid members defining therebetween a space in which disposed is a stationary contact adapted to cooperate with a movable contact carried by the rigid members. Spring means are provided for biasing the rigid members in one rotational direction against a rotational force caused by deceleration of the vehicle. The rigid members are provided with a massive weight so as to make the gravitational center eccentric from the rotational axis thereof, thereby an enhanced sensitivity to the deceleration is obtained.

    摘要: A dial device for a telephone set having a function of preventing toll dialing, in which a resistor or a zener diode is connected in series to a dial impulse contact of the dial device while a series connection of a first diode and a control circuit is connected in parallel with the resistor or the zener diode. A series-connection of a minimum pause contact and a second diode is connected in parallel with the dial impulse contact. An AND output of a dial impulse signal and a minimum pause signal from the minimum pause contact is obtained from a junction between the dial impulse contact and the first diode to apply it to a first input terminal of the control circuit, while the minimum pause signal is obtained from a junction between the minimum pause contact and the second diode to apply it to a second input terminal of the control circuit. A semiconductor switching element is connected in shunt with the dial impulse contact to prevent the sending-out of dialled impulses in response to the output of the control circuit when the dial impulse signal is a series of numbers representative of the toll dialling starting from a number 0 or numbers 10.

    摘要: An oil separator disposed inside a cylinder head cover of an internal combustion engine. The oil separator includes a body section defining an elongate separator chamber and having a blowby gas inlet and a blowby gas outlet. A partition wall is disposed to divide the separator chamber into an inlet chamber at side of the blowby gas inlet and an outlet chamber at side of the blowby gas outlet. The partition wall is formed with a plurality of passage holes each of which is triangular in cross-section. A collision plate is disposed inside the outlet chamber and located opposite to the passage holes of the partition wall. A slit-like opening is defined by a lower section of the collision plate and communicated with a drain section for discharging oil separated from blowby gas into a valve operating chamber.

The curtain airbag apparatus includes a curtain airbag and an inflator for inflating and deploying the curtain airbag into the vehicle interior along side window glass. The cover of the rear pillar trim can easily be displaced frontward along an airbag deployment joint. When inflated, the curtain airbag fixed to a vehicle body along an upper edge and a rear edge of the side window glass in a retracted position deploys into the vehicle interior upon separating and displacing the cover of the rear pillar trim frontward from the other part thereof.

    摘要: A controller stops a registration roller to temporarily hold a recording sheet and restarts the registration roller at a timing of transferring an image formed on an intermediate transferring belt to a predetermined position of the recording sheet. Then, an adjustment time calculator compares a time measured by a time counter with a predetermined reference time and calculates the difference between the measured time and the reference time as the adjustment time. The controller controls the driving of the sheet feeding mechanism based on the calculated adjustment time so that the waiting time of a next recording sheet becomes closer to the predetermined reference time.
