摘要: The cover unit for a head-up display disposed in a vehicle opens and closes an opening which passes beams of an image emitted from a displaying device toward a screen. The displaying device is disposed in the dashboard, and the image is superposed on a foreground of the vehicle to be visible from a driver's eye. The screen is located outside the dashboard. The cover unit has an intercepting plate for interrupting a view line directed from the eye toward the inside of the dashboard in a standing state of the intercepting plate. The intercepting plate is movable between the standing state and a lying state. The cover unit further has a cover body movable between a closed state and an open state of the opening. The cover body is hinged to the intercepting plate so that the cover body is folded up with the intercepting plate at the open state and the cover body is extended together with the intercepting plate in the closed state. The cover body has an upper surface treated to prevent reflection of an external beam in the open state as well as in the closed state.

摘要: A display device for use in a vehicle is provided, by which an image for superposition displayed on a display source is projected on a windshield of a vehicle so that the foreground of the vehicle and a virtual image of the image for superposition are accurately seen together even when a seat position and a physique of a driver change and when a shape of the windshield changes. A light of inverse image for superposition displayed on a display surface 5a of a display unit 5 in a dashboard 1 in a vehicle is projected on a windshield 3 so that the driver sees the foreground visible through the windshield 3 together with a virtual image of the inverse image for superposition reflected on the windshield 3 in front of an eye point I, that is, a virtual image of the original image for superposition. In order to cancel out distortion arisen when the light of the inverse image for superposition is reflected on the windshield 3, the inverse image for superposition displayed on the display unit 5 is distorted in advance in response to the contents stored in an external ROM provided in a control unit 7, which is replaceable with another ROM storing the different contents.

摘要: A liquid tank includes a tank body forming a reservoir for gasoline G, a flexible partition film 1 arranged in the tank body 1 to divide a space in the tank body into two vertical spaces, a float positioned on the gasoline G, an arm 3 for converting a high and low position of the float 3 into a rotational position of the arm 5, and a potentiometer 5 for detecting a position of the flexible partition film. Since the gasoline G is covered with the partition film, the gasoline G does not vaporize into the air in the tank body an. Even if the gasoline surface is slanted to the tank body an by an acceleration of the vehicle, the flexible partition film serves to restrict the inclination of the surface. Therefore, it is possible to precisely a residual amounts of the gasoline G irrespective of the inclination.

摘要: An indication display unit which includes an LC board as its reflector, by the reflector's changing of its transmissivity, the reflected image thereon projected from an indication projector and other images, such as an image directly exposed from an indicator located behind the LC board or the image generated by itself, can be respectively selected to be reflected therefrom. Accordingly, with the indication display of this invention, the clarity of the displayed image can be greatly improved, and simultaneous display of various indications can be achieved.
