摘要: Electronic ink layout analysis systems and methods provide flexibility and efficiency in organizing, analyzing, and processing digital ink. These layout analysis systems and methods allow users substantial freedom in entering electronic ink into a pen-based computer system. Using these systems and methods, a user's input digital ink is not constrained by requirements that a user write in a specific screen orientation, that a user write in one specific orientation on all portions of a page, or that a user write using a specific minimum or maximum sized stroke. Rather, the systems and methods freely allow the user to write anywhere on a given page, in any orientation or size, while still enabling effective and efficient handwriting recognition and other processing of the input digital ink.

摘要: Ink-parser-parameter optimization may be performed via parallel processing to accelerate searching for a set of optimal ink-parser parameters. Evaluators may parse pages of ink notes with different groups of parameters and may compute corresponding values for evaluation functions. Separate evaluation functions may be defined for the following types of ink-parker parsing engines: writing parser, writing/drawing classification, table detection, and list detection. A searcher may perform a grid-searching algorithm or a genetic algorithm to generate groups of parameters and may then pass the parameters to available evaluators for evaluation until evaluation-function values for a group of parameters satisfy a convergence condition.

摘要: Techniques for providing camera based code reading are disclosed. In some aspects, a camera-readable code is generated which may be read by a code reading device. The code reading device may capture an image of the code, process the image, and decode the code. The code includes symbols arranged to form a pattern. According to one or more embodiments, an image with the code is cropped to remove extraneous information. The code image is manipulated by exact binary segmentation to remove background information from the code. The code is oriented to a grid using an interval value defined between the symbols. The symbols are decoded by comparing unique aspects of the symbols using a statistical analysis. The decoded symbols may be converted to a message for a user or be used for other purposes.

摘要: A method includes generating emitted signals using transmitter elements and measuring received signals using receiver elements. The received signals are reflected portions of the emitted signals and the received signals correspond to one or more targets. The method also includes applying a first matched filter to the received signals to determine range information for the received signals, filtering the received signals based on the range information to define filtered signals, and determining calibration parameters using the filtered signals. The method also includes correcting the received signals using the calibration parameters to define calibrated signals and determining angle of arrival information for the received signals using the calibrated signals.

摘要: A method includes, following specification of an initial transformation as a test transformation that is to be optimized, determining a 2D gradient x-ray image and a 3D gradient dataset of the image dataset, carrying out, for each image element of the gradient comparison image, a check for selection as a contour point, and determining an environment best corresponding to a local environment of the contour point and extending around a comparison point in the gradient x-ray image for all contour points in the at least one gradient comparison image. Local 2D displacement information is determined by comparing the contour points with the associated comparison points, and motion parameters of a 3D motion model describing a movement of the target region between the acquisition of the image dataset and the x-ray image are determined from the displacement information and a registration transformation describing the registration.
