摘要: A data relay unit capable of relaying data communication between first and second networks interchanging different structures of data, a gateway (GW) and a method are provided. An identifier is assigned to transmission data and reception data exchanged in a GW unit. A data conversion section specifies a conversion process using reception data for generating transmission data for each transmission data piece identified by an identifier and uses a conversion table to store conversion processes. The data conversion section can generate intended transmission data based on an identifier of the transmission data to be transmitted by selecting and executing a necessary conversion process from the conversion table. Even when a method of generating transmission data is added or changed, it is only necessary to add or change a conversion process in the conversion table.

摘要: A method of manufacturing an array substrate for a liquid crystal panel includes forming a lower conductive film above a circuit layer. A lower display electrode is formed using the lower conductive film in a display region and a lower capacitor electrode of a capacitor is formed using the lower conductive film in a peripheral region which is external to the display region. The method of manufacturing includes forming an upper conductive film above the lower display electrode and the lower capacitor electrode. An upper display electrode is formed using the upper conductive film in the display region and an upper capacitor electrode of the capacitor is formed using the upper conductive film in the peripheral region.

摘要: An air shower for removing a particle from an object by blowing air to the object which includes at least one first outlet for discharging the air from the at least one first outlet toward at least a portion of the object so that a flow axis of the air flowing out of the at least one first outlet is swung frequently and alternately in a first swingable direction, and at least one second outlet for discharging the air from the at least one second outlet so that a flow axis of the air flowing out of the at least one second outlet is swung frequently and alternately in a second swingable direction which is different from the first swingable direction. The first swingable direction and the second swingable direction extend so as to be non-parallel to one another and to intersect one another.

摘要: A display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate disposed opposite to each other, and a display medium including an insulating liquid and electrophoretic colored particles dispersed therein and disposed between the first and second substrates. A first electrode and a second electrode are provided for applying a voltage to the display medium so as to move the colored particles between the first and second electrodes to effect a display depending on a voltage applied to the first and second electrodes. The electrophoretic colored particles are distributed uniformly without localization by incorporating the display medium in a plurality of light-transmissive tubes, and disposing and fixing the plurality of tubes in intimate contact with each other between the first and second substrates.
