    摘要: A magnetic recording medium having a magnetic layer on one surface of a substrate and a back layer on the other surface, which is characterized by that the back layer is that formed by dispering a filler such as carbon black, graphite, SiO.sub.2, TiO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3,Cr.sub.2 O.sub.3, SiC, CeO.sub.2, CaCO.sub.3, zinc oxide, geothite, .alpha.Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, talc, kaolin, CaSO.sub.4, boron nitride, Teflon powder, graphite fluoride, molybdenum disulfide, zirconia etc. In a binder containing a radiation sensitive curable resin such as acryl-modified vinyl chloride - vinyl acetate - vinyl alcohol copolymer, acryl-modified polyurethane elastomer, acryl-modified polyester resin, etc. and curing it prior to rolling. The obtained back layer is very tough and can reduce the number of dropouts.

    摘要: A steering control apparatus prevents interference between a steering operation of a driver and a steering control operation of the steering control apparatus by detecting a steering operation so as to decrease an amount of the steering control operation when the steering operation is performed by the driver. A guide line provided on a vehicle moving lane on which the vehicle is moving is recognized so as to set a target position on the vehicle moving lane based on a result of recognition of the guide line. A steering control operation is performed so that the vehicle moves to trace the target position. An amount of each component of a steering operation applied to a steering wheel is detected by a steering angle sensor and a steering torque sensor. An amount of the steering control operation is corrected so that the amount of the steering control operation is decreased in accordance with the amount of each component of the steering operation.

    摘要: A novel phthalocyanine compound having improved solubility and high purity and containing a polymerizable vinyl group within its molecule is provided. Intermediates to this phthalocyanine compound also have improved solubility and high purity. Further, with the novel phthalocyanine compound used as a starting monomer, a novel polymer is obtained which has a high content of (metal) phthalocyanine and is easy to control the orientation of phthalocyanine rings. The polymer having improved solubility and high purity is expected of use as functional material such as catalysts and recording material.

    摘要: A magnetic recording medium comprising a plastic base film, a thin magnetic metal layer formed on one side of the base film and a backing layer formed on the other side of the base film, characterized in that the backing layer is composed essentially of a thermoset or radiation-cured resin and carbon black and inorganic compound powder uniformly dispersed in the resin, and has a surface roughness of from 0.05 to 0.4 .mu.m, said carbon black having an average particle size of from 10 to 150 m.mu.m as measured by an electron microscope, said inorganic compound powder having a Mohs hardness of at most 6 and a particle size of from 10 to 500 m.mu.m, and the ratio of the carbon black to the inorganic compound powder being from 1:9 to 9:1.
