摘要: The present invention relates to core shell silica particles, wherein each core shell silica particle comprises a silica core, and a surface of the silica core is etched with metal silicate, the core shell silica particles prepared by: i) admixing an amount of silica particles in water with an amount of a base, wherein the base comprises a monovalent metal ion, to produce core shell silica particles, each core shell silica particle comprising a silica core, and a surface of the silica core etched with a silicate of the monovalent metal ion; and ii) reacting the core shell silica particles formed in step i) with a metal salt comprising a second metal ion, to form core shell silica particles comprising silicate of the second metal ion on the surface of the silica core.

摘要: A silica particle includes: a quaternary ammonium salt, in which the following expressions are satisfied, 0.90≤FBEFORE/FAFTER≤1.10, and 5≤FSINTERING/FBEFORE≤20, in which FBEFORE represents a maximum frequency value of a pore diameter of 2 nm or less in the silica particles before washing, which is obtained from a pore distribution curve in a nitrogen gas adsorption method, FAFTER represents a maximum frequency value of the pore diameter of 2 nm or less in the silica particles after washing, which is obtained from the pore distribution curve in the nitrogen gas adsorption method, and FSINTERING represents a maximum frequency value of the pore diameter of 2 nm or less in the silica particles before washing and after sintering at 600° C., which is obtained from the pore distribution curve in the nitrogen gas adsorption method.

摘要: A composition comprising titanium dioxide and additives useful for enhancing the optical performance of titanium dioxide or for allowing substitution of at least part of the titanium dioxide in said composition for additives. At least two additives are added, wherein a first additive comprises a composite pigment and a second additive comprises a reactive polymer. The invention also provides a method for enhancing the optical properties of titanium dioxide compositions.

摘要: A preparation method of carbon modified filler is provided. The method is: putting the fillers into the reaction zone of a reactor, starting the first heating-up to 400-500° C. under the protective atmosphere at first, then introducing hydrogen after the heating-up; starting the second heating-up to 600-1200° C. after introducing hydrogen and simultaneously introducing the mixture of hydrogen and carbon source gas, keeping at the terminal temperature for 0.1-5 hours, introducing nitrogen and stopping heating after the reaction, cooling, and then getting the carbon modified filler. The above method can obtain a friction material with good mechanical properties, excellent friction and wear performances, stable friction coefficient at high temperature, good braking force and no heat recession.
