    Abstract: An edge-lit waveguide and macro optic hybrid structure includes a waveguide segment having a light receiving surface and a light emitting surface. The light receiving surface and the light emitting surface are on opposite sides of the waveguide segment. The edge-lit waveguide and macro optic hybrid structure also includes a macro optic segment integrally formed with the waveguide segment. A light emitting surface of the macro optic segment extends out beyond the waveguide segment on a side of the waveguide segment.

    Abstract: A bracket can connect a luminaire to a junction box or other housing or structure, for example at a ceiling. The bracket can be mounted to the junction box using one or more fasteners. The bracket can comprise two tabs, and the luminaire can comprise two corresponding slots. Alternatively, the bracket can comprise two slots, and the luminaire two corresponding tabs. The luminaire can be attached to the bracket by positioning the luminaire so that the two tabs are inserted into the two slots and rotating the luminaire so the slots and tabs engage and lock.

    Abstract: A lateral sway brace is disclosed for bracing a service pipe disposed at a predetermined distance from a building support. The lateral sway brace can include a pipe coupler securable to the service pipe and a brace coupler securable to a brace member. The brace coupler and the pipe coupler are operable with the brace member to laterally support the service pipe from the building support. The brace member has a length less than the predetermined distance between the service pipe and the building support.     Abstract: A lighting fixture can dispose a light source in a recess of a ceiling or another surface while providing at least one of three adjustments that facilitates installation or post-installation setup. The first adjustment can support mounting the fixture to surfaces of differing thicknesses while maintaining the light source at a uniform recess depth. The second possible adjustment can facilitate rotating a visible portion of the fixture, typically an aperture or hole through which light transmits from the light source into a room or some other illuminated space. After the lighting fixture is attached to the ceiling, a user can rotate the aperture for alignment with another fixture or another object. The third possible adjustment can provide an illumination pattern that can be tilted to various angles or oriented in various directions according to user preference or to establish a desired lighting effect.
