Abstract: A method to configure a microfactory line for disassembly of a device is described. The method comprises identifying a configuration of the device for disassembly, determining each action, based on elements on the device to be removed, determining an order of operations based on the configuration of the device. The method further comprises laying out a microfactory including a plurality of robotic cells connected by conveyors, and an end location for each element removed from the device during the disassembly.

A preferred embodiment includes a first and second group of LEDs arranged in an alternating matrix configuration, each group of LEDs configured to produce light in a predetermined color temperature range. In a preferred embodiment, an LED light system includes a tubular LED lamp having substantially the same size and dimensions as a traditional fluorescent lamp tube and a control box for controlling power input and power gain to the first, second, or both groups of LEDs.

Abstract: Provided is a method for making a composite structure with exposed conductive fibers. The exposed conductive fibers can be used for static dissipation. In the present method, a liquid, gum, gel, or impermeable film mask is applied to the conductive fiber material. The mask functions to prevent infiltration of curable liquid resin into the conductive fiber material. The masked conductive fiber material is incorporated into the composite structure, along with structural fiber material. The liquid resin is cured. The mask material and cured resin are removed from the masked areas, thereby exposing the conductive fiber material. The exposed conductive fiber material can collect and drain electrostatic charges. The present method can be used to make storage tanks and other objects that require electrostatic charge dissipation.

Abstract: A display cover to housing interface system includes a display screen fronted by a display cover having front and obverse faces and a distal edge between the faces around a circumference thereof (i.e., edge thickness), and also an outer housing that provides support for the display cover. A portion of the display cover distal edge or thickness is fully exposed to outside, such that the display cover is exposed and substantially visible when viewed directly from the front and at least one side while installed. The display cover can be glass, while the housing is metal. A protective layer located between the housing and display cover protects the display cover from the housing. Various support components hold the display cover in place, and can include magnets and/or a stabilizer assembly affixed along a bottom edge of the display cover and adapted to couple to a bottom chin of the housing.

The workstation may include a fixture mounted to the workstation that receives the control panel to be disassembled. The workstation may further include at least two wedging tools that enter the control panel at two locations between the first and second sides of the control panel. In addition, the workstation may include at least two driving members that engage and edge of the first side at two locations and apply a force to the edge sufficient to separate the first side from the second side.
