Abstract: The present application provides an AI-based system for evaluating an individual's mindfulness (e.g., during prayer) based on video captured of the individual. In one example, the video may be captured via a smart phone. The individual's mindfulness may be continually evaluated from the captured video by observing the individual's body pose and movements. For instance, turning the individual's head to one side or moving the individual's eyes around rapidly can be signs of losing focus. Body pose and movement information of an individual may be derived from the video through AI-based video analytics. The user's body pose and movements may be checked against a set of predefined criteria for mindfulness, and an objective evaluation may be provided. Such evaluation can then be fed back to the individual, for example, to remind the individual whenever they lose focus during prayer.

Abstract: Proactively detecting malicious domains using graph representation learning may be provided by extracting seed domains from a uniform resource locator (URL) feed of observed requests for access to domains; expanding the seed domains to a via a passive domain name service (PDNS) crawl to include additional domains with the seed domains; collecting a ground truth, including labeling a first set of the seed domains as benign and a second set of the seed domains as malicious; constructing a graph neural network (GNN) of the additional domains and the seed domains, wherein each domain of the additional domains and the seed domains are represented as a node in the GNN that includes feature values associated that domain; training the GNN to classify unseen domains not associated with a node as either benign or malicious; and classifying, via the GNN, a queried domain as either benign or malicious.

Abstract: A shape-memory alloy actuated switch (SMAAS) is provided that enables the stable switching of two separate circuits. The presently disclosed SMAAS includes a substrate, one or more electrical contacts attached to the substrate for connecting to load circuits, and one or more electrically conductive elements for selectively connecting the one or more electrical contacts. The disclosed SMAAS also includes one or more shape-memory alloy actuators attached to the substrate. The one or more shape-memory alloy actuators are configured to move the one or more electrically conductive elements. The shape-memory alloy actuators are self-heated by passing current through the shape-memory alloy material. The disclosed SMAAS may also include electrical contacts to connect an external control current to the shape-memory alloy material. In some examples, the provided SMAAS includes one or more retention mechanisms to prevent movement of the electrically conductive elements after actuation.
