摘要: A forage harvester with at least one work assembly is disclosed. The forage harvester has a corn cracker to process grain components and a driver assistance system. The driver assistance system controls the corn cracker by adjusting the machine parameters of the corn cracker. In particular, the driver assistance system has an optimization model which includes a multidimensional characteristic map that represents a relationship between a processing quality of the grain components and at least three parameters that comprise an input parameter representing a current harvesting process state and at least one machine parameter of the corn cracker as an output parameter. Thus, the driver assistance system determines the output parameter in the control routine during the harvesting process based on the varying input parameter from the optimization model and adjusts it in the corn cracker to achieve a uniform given processing quality of the grain components during the harvesting process.

摘要: A method and a system for determining an indicator of processing quality of an agricultural harvested material using a mobile device is disclosed. A computing unit analyzes image data of a prepared sample of harvested material containing grain components and non-grain components in an analytical routine to determine the indicator of the processing quality of the agricultural harvested material. Further, the computing unit uses a trained machine learning model in the analytical routine to perform at least one step of determining the indicator of the processing quality of the agricultural harvested material and that the computing unit adjusts at least one machine parameter of the forage harvester based on the indicator of processing quality.

摘要: A residue vision system includes an image acquisition device configured for mounting to a harvesting machine. The image acquisition device is configured to acquire, during operation of the harvesting machine, information regarding a first pass in a field. The first pass is a harvested area of the field. During the operation, the first pass is laterally offset from a second pass in the field. An electronic control unit is in communication with the image acquisition device and with a residue distribution system. The residue distribution system is configured to be coupled to the harvesting machine to distribute residue onto the second pass and onto the first pass. The electronic control unit is configured to analyze the information acquired by the image acquisition device and to adjust a distribution of residue onto the first pass while the harvesting machine is harvesting the second pass.

摘要: A system and related method of applying forage treatment material to harvested forage is provided. The method can include harvesting forage, rotating an auger in a bin to convey a granular treatment material toward a tube, moving the material through the tube with a vacuum toward harvested forage moving in a chute to mix the material with the harvested forage, sensing rotation of the auger; displaying an RPM associated with the sensed auger rotation; displaying a measured harvested forage rate; adjusting the actuator to change the RPM to match the applied material amount to the harvested forage based on the measured harvested forage rate. The system can include a bin having an auger, a sensor that measures auger RPM, a tube, a display that displays the RPM in the cab, and an actuator to adjust applied material by changing the RPM based on a measured harvested forage rate.

摘要: A method for operating a harvester may include initially operating the harvester in a discharge harvesting mode such that harvested crops are conveyed to a distal end of an elevator of the harvester and subsequently discharged from the harvester through a discharge opening defined by a storage hopper located at the distal end of the elevator. The method also includes reducing an operating speed of the elevator and blocking the discharge opening defined by the storage hopper upon receipt of an operator input associated with operating the harvester in a storage harvesting mode. Additionally, the method includes actively adjusting the operating speed of the elevator based on a crop flow parameter of the harvester as the harvested crops expelled from the distal end of the elevator are being stored within a storage volume of the storage hopper.
