    摘要: For this fastener stringer, at least two stitching lines configured of stitching thread are disposed along the longitudinal direction of a tape on one surface side of the fastener elements. Each of the stitching lines has a stitch at least every two pitches of the fastener elements in the longitudinal direction of the tape and the stitches of each line are disposed so as to deviate from the stitches of the adjacent line, by at least one pitch of the fastener elements in the longitudinal direction of the tape. The fastener stringer thereby has superior fastener element dimensional precision, stitch line abrasion resistance, and flexibility. The multiple stitch lines can be made to look like a tape fabric to be inconspicuous. Moreover, in producing the fastener stringer, a stitching process of the fastener element can be performed efficiently and stably.

    摘要: A fastener attached product is structured such that a slide fastener is sewn to right and left attached bodies which are bent in a U-shape, and the right and left attached bodies are arranged in a tape surface side to which the element rows of the fastener tape are sewn. Further, the right and left attached bodies come into contact with the outer surfaces of right and left flanges which are arranged in a slider, and the element rows are arranged and exposed between the right and left attached bodies. As a result of this configuration, since the fastener tape is invisible from the outside by the attached body, exposing the element rows can provide the fastener attached product with different design from conventional products and eliminate problems due to degradation in the appearance and design which is caused by the exposure of the fastener tapes.

    摘要: A woven slide fastener in which displacements of element anchoring warps in a width direction of a fastener tape does not occur, flexibility of the fastener and smooth operation of a slider are ensured, and anchoring of a fastener element row is stable. Two anchoring warps disposed closest to coupling heads out of a plurality of element anchoring warps running over upper leg portions of the fastener element row run with and parallel to a double-picked foundation weft running under lower leg portions of adjacent elements and are woven in a width direction of a fastener tape body portion while interlacing with other element anchoring warps and foundation warps. Therefore, the element row can be anchored firmly, and the two anchoring warps do not fall off the elements, and other element anchoring warps also do not fall off of the elements.

    摘要: An abrasion resistant slide fastener includes a coupling element attached to a support tape by stitching looper and needle threads to secure the coupling element and a filler cord, extending through the coupling element, to a support tape. The looper thread has an upper portion which engages an upper shank of the coupling element and a lower portion which engages the needle thread within the filler cord. The needle thread is stitched at a greater tension than the looper thread and secures the looper thread, the coupling element and the filler cord to the support tape. The upper portion of the looper thread, engaging the upper shank, is heated until it melts from the upper shank of the coupling element, thus eliminating the looper thread exposed to wear and forming anchor portions which engage the filler cord. The needle thread and the lower portion of the looper thread are not directly exposed to the heat source and remain substantially intact within the filler cord. The anchor portions are drawn toward the interior of the filler cord due to the greater tensioning of the needle thread, which secures the coupling element to the support tape and produces an abrasion resistant slide fastener.

    摘要: A method of and an apparatus for manufacturing a woven stringer for a concealed type of slide fastener having a row of continuous filamentary coupling elements woven integrally into a stringer tape. The row of coupling elements are formed into a continuous helical coil structure which is woven into a longitudinal edge of the stringer tape as the latter is woven and which is oriented so that each of the coupling elements has its heel portion disposed to project transversely beyond the longitudinal edge of the stringer tape and its coupling head portion directed toward a web portion of the tape when the stringer is produced. The resulting stringer when in use is folded back on a longitudinal axis so that the coupling head projects beyond the tape edge but is concealed from view when a pair of such stringers are coupled together.
