摘要： There is provided a slide fastener. A pair of fastener element rows are respectively sewn to opposing tape side edge portions of a pair of fastener tapes with sewing threads. Each of the fastener element rows has a plurality of fastener elements. A slider is configured to engage and disengage the pair of fastener element rows. The pair of fastener tapes and the pair of fastener element rows are colored in different colors. The slide fastener is used such that the fastener element rows are at a back side. A width dimension of a gap between the pair of fastener tapes is set to be 10 to 25% of a width dimension of the pair of fastener element rows that are engaged with each other. The color of the fastener element rows is visible through the gap from a front side of the slide fastener.

摘要： A method of sewing a fastener stringer includes the steps of conveying a fastener stringer and an attached body to a sewing section of a sewing machine in a state with the fastener stringer superposed on the attached body, and arranging an element guide section in the sewing section of the sewing machine, bending a fastener tape in a direction in which a tape bent section opens, guiding the element rows to the element guide section, and sewing the fastener tape to the attached body. Accordingly, the method enables a sewing line formed by a sewing thread to be disposed at a predetermined position and the fastener tape and the attached body to be easily and efficiently sewn together.

摘要： It is an object to provide an apparatus for automatically sewing a slide fastener chain onto a cloth piece in which the physical fatigue of a sewing operator can be relieved also when the same operator takes charge of delivery, and the size of the apparatus can be reduced. In a chain sewing apparatus, a slide fastener chain supplied continuously is successively sewn onto a pair of left and right cloth pieces. There is provided chain cutting means for cutting the fastener chain between the cloth pieces moved continuously over a table and suspending from a front end of the table. There is provided a sewn product receiving section having sewn product transfer means for receiving, in a lower part, a sewn product cut away from the succeeding cloth piece having the fastener chain sewn thereonto by the cutting means and transferring the sewn product to a rear end of the table through a lower space portion of the table.

摘要： Method and device for manufacturing string core-free invisible zipper. Without string core, the molded zipper racks are separately and directly loosely reversely fed into the needle seat of the machine. The fabric belts are at the same time fed into the needle seat for sewing the zipper racks thereon. Prior to feeding the racks into the needle seat, it is no more necessary to use a rack separating bar to forcedly stretch open the two racks. Accordingly, the zipper racks are prevented from being tensioned and deformed or curled and the pitch will be unified. The slider can be more smoothly slided without being obstructed. The teeth of the racks can more firmly mesh with each other.

摘要： In the apparatus, a lateral supply section is provided on one side of a fly-conveying passage, and an angle-changing member with a desired inclination angle is provided on the other side of the fly-conveying passage. A fly is supplied from the lateral supply section so as to abut on the angle-changing member and to be displaced at the desired inclination angle, then the fly is conveyed to a sewing section by a first longitudinal conveying belt and a second longitudinal conveying belt provided at a conveying section with the displacement of the fly being maintained. Thereafter, a slide fastener chain is placed and sewn onto the fly, thereby mechanically manufacturing the fly to which the slide fastener chain is sewn diagonally. The thus finished fly with the slide fastener chain is good and uniform in quality while its manufacturing can be efficient.

摘要： An automatic apparatus for sewing elongated workpieces, and especially useful for precisely sewing a pair of concealed slide fastener stringers to a pair of fabric halves defining the opening therebetween comprises a table having fabric input guides at the front end of the table, a sewing station, and a gripper assembly for drawing the fabric pieces from the sewing station under a tension less than that applied by the sewing machine feed dog and presser foot. Individually actuable workpiece holders are provided to permit successive setting up of the fabric pieces in the sewing station. Fastener stringers are guided to the sewing station with their corded edges supported in guide channels as the stringers are superposed on the respective fabric piece. The sewing operation proceeds automatically in an extremely precise manner after the sewing station is inputed and the sewing machine started.
