摘要： A fastener attached product is structured such that a slide fastener is sewn to right and left attached bodies which are bent in a U-shape, and the right and left attached bodies are arranged in a tape surface side to which the element rows of the fastener tape are sewn. Further, the right and left attached bodies come into contact with the outer surfaces of right and left flanges which are arranged in a slider, and the element rows are arranged and exposed between the right and left attached bodies. As a result of this configuration, since the fastener tape is invisible from the outside by the attached body, exposing the element rows can provide the fastener attached product with different design from conventional products and eliminate problems due to degradation in the appearance and design which is caused by the exposure of the fastener tapes.

摘要： A method of sewing a fastener stringer includes the steps of conveying a fastener stringer and an attached body to a sewing section of a sewing machine in a state with the fastener stringer superposed on the attached body, and arranging an element guide section in the sewing section of the sewing machine, bending a fastener tape in a direction in which a tape bent section opens, guiding the element rows to the element guide section and sewing the fastener tape to the attached body. Accordingly, the method enables a sewing line formed by a sewing thread to be disposed at a predetermined position and the fastener tape and the attached body to be easily and efficiently sewn together.

摘要： A method of controlling an electro-hydraulic system having an engine driving a variable displacement pump, a hydraulic valve and a hydraulic actuator in order to achieve more efficient engine operation is disclosed. The pressures in the electro-hydraulic system are monitored and commands are received indicating the desired movement of the hydraulic actuator. Based on the pressure and the commands, the operation being performed by the machine is determined and the engine is set to an efficient setting for the particular segment of machine operation.

摘要： A coating apparatus wherein the coating is made by a coater while a support is carried in a non-contacting manner by a gas jetted from a gas jetting device towards the support. The gas jetting device has a hollow housing into which the gas is introduced from a gas source, the wall of the housing adjacent to the support being provided with a plurality of gas jetting nozzle ports through which the gas is jetted towards the support, each gas jetting nozzle port having a throat portion presenting a minimum cross-sectional area inwardly spaced from the outer surface of the wall of the housing and an enlarged outlet portion presenting a comparatively large diameter and opening in surface of the wall. The ratio of port area is adjusted in such a manner that the rate of jetting of the gas from unit area of the outer surface of the gas jetting device becomes smaller as the width of the support is increased.

摘要： A human antibody or a functional fragment thereof having specific binding ability to CD98 which is derived from the cell membrane of cancer cells and is in the form of a complex with a protein having an amino acid transporter activity (for example, LAT1) is disclosed. This antibody binds to CD98 in the form of a dimer with LAT1 on the surface of cancer cells, specifically attacks cancer cells expressing CD98 via the immune system by ADCC or CDC, and further inhibits amino acid uptake of the cancer cells via LAT1, to suppress growth of the cancer cells. Accordingly, a preventive and therapeutic agent for cancer comprising this antibody or a fragment thereof, which acts on various cancers, is specific to cancer, and causes no side effect, is provided.
