摘要： A composite fabric sheet loading and unloading machine and its method of operation is described for loading and unloading a composite fabric sheet into a computer controlled stitching and laser cutting machine. The composite fabric sheet is restrained on a rectangular contour support frame of a transport platform which is displaceably and guidingly transported into the stitching and laser cutting machine where programmed pattern fabric pieces are formed in the restrained fabric sheet. The transport platform is then unloaded and transferred back to its original position where the pattern pieces and trimmings are separated and a new composite sheet is positioned and restrained on the flat top surface to repeat the operation. A transport platform is provided on opposed sides of the computer controlled stitching and die cutting machine wherein after the unloading of the transport platform another transport platform is loaded into the stitching and laser cutting machine from the opposed side.

摘要： A seaming assembly for placing seams in a continuously moving web of material. The seaming assembly includes a first support that is movable in a machine direction and a second support which is secured to the first support. The second support is movable relative to the first support in a cross direction. A seaming mechanism is mounted on the second support to place seams in the web that are at least partially in the cross direction. The first support may be movable in the machine direction at a speed that is substantially the same as the web such that the seaming mechanism places seams in the web that are substantially in the cross direction.

摘要： It is an object to provide an apparatus for automatically sewing a slide fastener chain onto a cloth piece in which the physical fatigue of a sewing operator can be relieved also when the same operator takes charge of delivery, and the size of the apparatus can be reduced. In a chain sewing apparatus, a slide fastener chain supplied continuously is successively sewn onto a pair of left and right cloth pieces. There is provided chain cutting means for cutting the fastener chain between the cloth pieces moved continuously over a table and suspending from a front end of the table. There is provided a sewn product receiving section having sewn product transfer means for receiving, in a lower part, a sewn product cut away from the succeeding cloth piece having the fastener chain sewn thereonto by the cutting means and transferring the sewn product to a rear end of the table through a lower space portion of the table.

A second gripper (26) is provided on the device by means of which the material sheeting (01) can be secured behind the front edge (31) to form a folded edge (33), whereby the material sheeting (01) can be pulled off by a second partial amount and at the same time folded together in multiple layers by movement of the second gripper (26) combined with at the same time resetting of the first gripper (25), and whereby a cutting device (27) is provided on the device (09) for cutting the material sheeting (01) to form the fabric section (34) the length of which between the front edge (31) and the rear edge (36) corresponds to the sum of the first and second partial amounts.

摘要： Ink jet printing is provided on large area substrates such as wide width textile webs. The printheads are driven by linear servo motors across a bridge that extends across the substrate. The timing of the jetting of the ink is coordinated with the motion of the printheads, so that the heads can be rapidly moved and the ink can be jetted while the printheads are accelerating or decelerating as they move on the bridge. Preferably, ultraviolet (UV) light curable ink is jetted and first partially cured with UV light and then subjected to heating to more completely reduce uncured monomers of the ink on the substrate.

摘要： A machine for automatically producing a mattress border with handles sewn to the border material. Border material is pre-fed from a selected spool, screened for splice avoidance and measured. Handle material is fed from a selected spool mounted in a multiple handle material spool magazine mounted on rails, fed into a handle folding assembly, and cut to length. Ends of the handle material are folded under by the handle folding assembly and the handle then transferred in a folded condition from the handle folding assembly to a correct position on the border material. A double frame handle press holds each folded end of the handle material in place as each end is maneuvered under a sewing head needle to apply a stitch pattern to secure the folded ends to the border material. The double frame handle press is translated separately from the carriage assembly which travels in the sew pattern, to position the other end of the handle under the sewing needle.
