    摘要: A printing system includes carriage assemblies, a preparation station, a printing station, and a selection station. The carriage assemblies receive flexible bodies and are coupled to a conveyance assembly that moves the carriage assemblies along a direction of travel. The preparation station receives the flexible bodies from the loading station and manipulates the flexible bodies to at least partially flatten printing surfaces of the flexible bodies. The printing station prints images on the flexible bodies. The selection station examines the images on the flexible bodies and selects one or more of the flexible bodies based on the images. The selection station also individually grips and removes selected flexible bodies from the carriage assemblies and conveys the selected flexible bodies to a first collection location while the other flexible bodies remain on the carriage assemblies and are conveyed to a different, second collection location.

    摘要: The present invention relates improved device is provided for holding down textile the material on the platen of the digital printer. The inventive device includes a textile gripping material formed to define a border band on the periphery of the platen. The border material has a structure that engages/grips the textile and hold the textile in place. In operation, the textile is laid onto the platen surface and the edges are pulled taut to align the textile and remove wrinkles and the textile is next pressed onto the border material to be engaged by the border material. The border material grips and holds the textile in position, to provide a smooth textile surface on which the ink jets are applied. After the printing operation, the textile is lifted off of the border material and removed from the platen.

    摘要: Images are printed up to the edges of a print medium while preventing ink droplets from depositing on the platen. Ink droplets are ejected without blank space up to the edges of the medium according to print data. The print medium is supported opposite a dot-recording head. Ink droplets are ejected to a first area lying outside of an upper edge of the print medium and to a second area lying outside of a lower edge of the print medium. A length of the second area in a sub-scanning direction is greater than a length of the first area in the sub-scanning direction. In device embodiments, control of such operations is provided by a controller.

    摘要: When the coating object area is positioned on the suction table, the film is stopped and is mounted on the suction table, and is further provided with tension in the longitudinal direction to eliminate slacks or the like, but, curl is caused in the both side end regions in the coating object area. Therefore, the coating object area is mounted on the suction table, and at the same time, the curl correction bars disposed on the both sides of the suction table are moved to the curled portions of the coating object area, and then the curled portions are pressed against the suction surface of the suction table to thereby perform the curl correction. Further, in the coating process with the UV-curing coating material, the UV light from the UV light source formed integrally with the coating head is applied to cure the material. In the vacuum suction section, as the destination, the bubbles or the like in the coating head are sucked. When the suction of the coating head is not performed, the UV shutter is moved by the suction section air cylinder to block the suction port of the vacuum suction section. Thus, the inside of the vacuum suction section is shielded from the UV light.
