    摘要: The invention concerns a bench coil winder, comprising a frame for the support of at least one rotary winding spindle, of a tailstock for the spindles, and of at least one movable wireguide for feeding and distributing the wire on the coil being wound. The frame is made in the form of a bedplate (1) and of at least one vertical wall (1A), on which are mounted all the elements forming the machine, and it comprises a body (2) covering all these elements, which is fixed on the bedplate (1). The wireguide (9) is mounted slidable according to the axis Y, perpendicularly to the front wall (2') of the covering body (2), onto a unit movable according to the axes X and Z; on this unit there is fixed a closing lamina (2b), parallel and shortly spaced from the wall (2'), which closes a window (2a) provided in the covering body (2) to let through the wireguide (9). The center (41) for each spindle (33) is carried by a toggle-joint leverage (39, 40), which is mounted on a slide (43), movable parallely to the spindle axis under the control of a position adjustment device (45, 46).

    摘要: A stationary or mobile cable spooling system for winding up electrical cables used on drilling rigs comprised of an axle for insertion into a cable spool, a yoke for rotationally mounting the axle, a hydraulic motor coupled to the axle for rotating the spool and a cable guide system which evenly winds the cable onto the spool. The cable guide system is comprised of a cable guide mounted on a diamond grooved shaft which traverses from one side of the shaft to the other guiding the cable onto the spool. The hydraulic motor is driven by a pressure compensated hydraulic pump which prevents excessive force being applied to the cable as it is being wound on a spool. If the cable should catch or bind in any fashion and the stress on the cable exceeds a certain amount, the hydraulic motor will slowly stop when the pressure in the hydraulic pump exceeds a pre-determined amount. The transportable spooling system is comprised of a tiltable frame having the spooling system mounted on a trailer for transporting the system by towing it from one site to another. The tilt frame is tilted up and locked for transportation and is tilted down to provide a stationary platform for use at a site.

    摘要: An apparatus for supporting and handling spools of the type intended to carry wire, and for rotating such spools at relatively high speeds in order to fill them. The apparatus comprises a housing having an access opening and a swivel carrier on the housing, capable of supporting the spool on one of its ends and of shifting the spool from the exterior of the housing to the interior thereof. The carrier, once it arrives at the interior, can lower the spool to an operative position on a special drive mechanism that is capable of rotating it. In addition, a traverse mechanism is provided in the housing, for guiding and reciprocating a strand of wire as it is being wound onto the spool. By virture of the arrangement wherein the carrier can swing the spool between the exterior and interior of the housing, lifting and handling of the spool is greatly facilitated. This is particularly important where spools weighing hundreds of pounds are being employed.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a twin reel beltwinder which is designed to support an indeterminate length of conveyor belt for transportation within a mine cavity. The present invention includes a frame structure rotatably mounted on four wheels and including a framework for supporting a roll of conveyor belt. The entire roll of conveyor belt is initially positioned on one arm of the support structure. Subsequently, a portion of the conveyor belt is unreeled onto the second arm of the support structure. By equally distributing the conveyor belt between the first arm and the second arm of the support structure, the overall height of the apparatus is low enough to be accommodated within a mine cavity.

    摘要: A self-aligning bobbin chuck for use with a yarn winding apparatus of the type that includes a drive roll and means for moving a bobbin carried by the chuck into surface driven engagement with the drive roll. The chuck includes concentrically arranged and radially spaced, first and second shafts and a sleeve telescoped over the shafts. The second shaft has a portion that extends beyond one end of the first shaft and is pivotally mounted at a point between its ends to the first shaft for swinging movement in a plane inclusive of the longitudinal axes of both the chuck and the drive roll. The sleeve is rotatably mounted to one end of the second shaft while a damping means is coupled between the other end of the second shaft and the first shaft to dampen out rapidly applied shock loads.
