摘要： A system for fixing a rail onto a foundation and to a guide plate. The system comprises a spring element, with at least one spring arm, which can be clamped against the foundation by means of a clamping element, an adapter piece, with a contact surface section, which sits on an end section of the spring arm, and a guide plate. The guide plate has a contact surface for the rail foot and a sliding surface which adjoins the contact surface via which the adapter piece can be moved from a pre-assembly position in which it sits on the guide plate with its contact surface section to an assembly position in which it is seated, with its contact surface section, on the rail foot of the rail to be fixed. A stop is provided on the sliding surface against which the adapter piece rests in the pre-assembly position.

摘要： The invention relates to a rail fastening on a tie having fastening screws and loop-shaped tension clamps in which the track width can be adjusted horizontally in a stepless manner using wedge elements, the rail being arranged on a ribbed plate, the ribs of which run at an angle to the rail and a wedge that can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the rail being arranged between rail foot and the ribs. The wedge is preferably guided on the support. This makes possible effective horizontal lateral displacement of the rail or modification of the track with the use of simple and inexpensive plastic parts.

摘要： A railway baseplate assembly comprising a baseplate (30), a cushioning pad (20) for lying beneath the baseplate (30), and means (10) for securing the baseplate (30) to an underlying rail foundation when the assembly is in use, wherein the said securing means (10) comprise a non-screw-threaded post member (12), which post member (12) extends, when in use, through holes (21, 31) provided in the baseplate (30) and cushioning pad (20) in such a way as to engage the said baseplate (30). The post member (12) and baseplate (30) may be such that engagement of the baseplate (30) with the post member (12) can be brought about by movement of the baseplate (30) relative to the post member (12) firstly in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the baseplate (30) and towards the post member (12) so that the post member (12) extends through the hole (31) in the baseplate (30) and secondly in a direction substantially parallel to the plane of the baseplate so that the post member (12) engages the baseplate (30). The post member (12) is fastened, directly or indirectly, to the rail foundation and the post member (12), cushioning pad (20) and baseplate (30) may be such that the cushioning pad (20) and baseplate (30) can be brought into engagement with the post member (12) while the post member (12) is fastened to the rail foundation.

摘要： An improved fastener for attaching metal to wood is described. The fastener is particularly suited for use as a railroad spike for attaching a metal rail to a wooden tie. The improved spike is adapted for installation by either driving or screwing the spike into the tie. A plurality of flutes are adapted to engage with the tie, thereby preventing loosening of the spike. The spike may be used with or without a metal boss or fishplate to secure a metal rail to a wooden tie.

摘要： A rail retaining device has a shoulder member for bearing on a lateral side of a rail flange. The shoulder has a downwardly facing abutment surface. A rail clip is of bent rod symmetrical about a vertical plane. The clip has an inner portion bearing on the flange, intermediate limb portions reacting with the abutment surface and flexed resiliently downwardly in the installed position, and an outer portion connected to each intermediate limb portion and extending arcuately outwardly and downwardly to a lower portion adapted to bear on a bearing surface.

摘要： A steel tie for incorporation in rail track has a horizontal rectangular plate for connection transversely of the rail to restrain vertical rail movement. The longer sides of the horizontal plate terminate in downwardly and outwardly inclined margin portions for capturing ballast. A web member extends vertically on the underside of the plate member and parallel to and centrally of the longer sides of the plate and serves to restrain longitudinal rail movement. Curved ballast engaging plate members are connected on the underside of the tie to provide lateral stability. The plate members are detachable and replaceable with smaller or larger members to provide a smaller or greater ballast engaging area. The lower edge of the vertical web has a thickened portion to carry stresses. Rail fastening devices consist of a pair of opposing longitudinally extending shoulders adapted to accommodate the rail flange between them. Each shoulder has a downwardly facing abutment surface, and a resilient rail clip has an intermediate portion that bears upwardly on the abutment surface, an end portion that extends inwardly from the abutment surface and bears resiliently on the upper side of the rail flange.
