    摘要: A shoring support structure (3) comprising an outer tube (2) having a threaded region (22) with opposing longitudinal slots (16) and an inner tube (4) slidable within the outer tube and having a plurality of pairs of transverse holes (14) at spaced apart intervals. The inner tube and outer tubes terminate in a plate (6) and a pin (10) is receivable through the slots of the outer tube and a pair of transverse holes of the inner tube. A collar (8) is mounted on the threaded region and is rotatable to raise and lower the pin within the slots. The collar includes a driven member (30) such as a bevel gear for mating with a driving member (32) such as a pinion connectable to an actuator (38), actuation of the driving member causing rotation of the driven member to effect rotation of the collar (8) to move the pin.

    摘要: A spindle strut comprises a support rod element which is elongated in the direction of a longitudinal axis and has a first axial end portion and a second axial end portion, a spindle nut element which can be rotated about the longitudinal axis with respect to the support rod element, wherein the spindle nut element is held at the first axial end portion of the support rod element in both axial directions against axial movement with respect to the support rod element, so that rotation of the spindle nut element about the longitudinal axis essentially does not result in an axial movement of the spindle nut element with respect to the support rod element, a spindle rod element which is elongated in the direction of the longitudinal axis, wherein the spindle rod element is in threaded engagement with the spindle nut element, so that rotation of the spindle nut element about the longitudinal axis results in an axial movement of the spindle rod element with respect to the support rod element.

    摘要: A support apparatus having a base to support a support member which, in turn, supports a structure (e.g., a building joist, overhead structure, combinations thereof). The support apparatus may be used to provide reinforcement between a floor (e.g., ground, substrate, or the like) and the structure. The base of the support apparatus is in the form of a generally planar circular base, but may have any shape. The base may include one or more platforms, recesses, or ribs in order to provide structural support to the base and/or locations for one or more fastener apertures. The one or more fastener apertures are configured to receive one or more fasteners for operatively coupling the base to the floor in order to resist movement of the base during installation and/or use of the support apparatus.
