    摘要: A damper device includes a damper main body, and a grommet fixed to a fixing member. The damper main body includes a shaft portion having a plurality of engagement projection portions extending along a peripheral direction at predetermined intervals in an axial direction thereof. The grommet has a tube portion, an engaging device to be fixed to the fixing member formed outside the tube portion, and an elastic anchor piece disposed inside the tube portion to engage the engagement projection portions of the shaft portion pressed into the tube portion. When a stopper is formed outside the shaft portion and tightened to the grommet, the damper main body can be securely fixed to the grommet.

    摘要: An adjustable hinge assembly and method for using the same to adjust a cover relative to vehicle opening is disclosed. The adjustable hinge assembly includes a hinge box and an adjustable link pivotally connected to the hinge box about a first pivot axis. The adjustable link includes a mount defining a second pivot axis. The adjustable link may be pivoted relative to the hinge box to adjust the position of the second pivot axis relative to the hinge box. The hinge assembly may be used to mount a hinge strap and deck lid to a backshelf of a vehicle. Pivotally moving the adjustment link relative to the hinge box allows the deck lid to adjust relative to a deck lid opening in the vehicle.

    摘要: A hood bumper assembly which may be used, for example, to adjustably align the hood of an automobile with the adjacent fenders as the hood is brought down into locked engagement over the engine compartment. The assembly includes a workpiece, which may be the framework of the engine compartment, having an aperture and a helical internal marginal portion defined around the aperture, and a member having an end with a spherical surface portion arranged to engage the hood when closed and a shank portion including a helical thread adapted to be threadingly received by the aperture. The assembly further includes detent means carried by the shank and the workpiece for releasably locking the shank within the aperture against rotation at predetermined rotational intervals. The spherical surface portion of the member end is arranged to coact with a stamped recess in the underside of the hood to prevent lateral vibration of the hood and to positively locate the hood in proper position when it is closed.
