    摘要: A loading unit for a disc cartridge includes a cartridge holder movably supported relative to a chassis. The cartridge holder is moved towards a recording and/or reproducing device for recording and/or reproducing information signals on or from a recording medium housed within the disc cartridge. The cartridge holder is configured to hold the disc cartridge inserted therein and has an engaging recess and an insertion detector. The insertion detector is moved in response to the disc cartridge being inserted into the cartridge holder. A stop mounted on the cartridge holder has a retention portion for retention by the chassis and an engaging protrusion for engagement with the engaging recess of the disc cartridge. The stop is slidingly contacted with the chassis in conjunction with movement of the cartridge holder towards the recording and/or reproducing device. The stop is inhibited from movement by the insertion detector when a disc cartridge is not inserted into the cartridge holder and the retention portion is engaged by the chassis. The stop is released from inhibition of movement when the disc cartridge is inserted into the cartridge holder and the insertion detector is moved, thereby disengaging the retention portion from the chassis, whereby the stop engages the engaging protrusion with the engaging recess in the disc cartridge.

    摘要: The mechanism for loading and unloading a disk cartridge uses two sliders (one on each side of a base plate), which move in opposite directions under the influence of a tiller. Each slider has a slot to receive one of the two lifting pins provided on the cartridge receiver. The movement of the sliders drives the lifting pins along the slots, thereby raising or lowering the cartridge receiver depending upon the direction of rotation of the tiller. The sliding motion of the lifting pins engaged in the S-shaped slots thus unloads a disk from or, alternatively, loads the disk onto the drive spindle. As the lifting pins travel along their respective slots, the lifting and lowering of the disk is accomplished in such a manner that the disk hub is peeled from the spindle magnet rather than being lifted vertically off the spindle. This reduces the peak force required to break the magnetic clamp force between the spindle magnet and the disk hub. In this system, the dust door is attached to the cartridge receiver, and the label end of the loaded cartridge remains visible when the disk is loaded. This system may include a bias coil assembly rotatably mounted on an arm so that the bias coil assembly may be loaded into or extracted from the disk cartridge and placed out of the travel path of the disk cartridge. The rotation of the bias coil arm is effected by one of the sliders.

    摘要: A magnetic head loading/unloading apparatus has a head arm being maintained in either a loading state or an unloaded state by means of a permanent magnet. The head arm has a magnetic head on one end thereof, and is fixed on an end of a first yoke. A second yoke is arranged parallel to the first yoke, and is rotatable on the first yoke. A touching member is fixed on the second yoke, the touching member pressing a bottom surface of the head arm so as to elastically deform the head arm so that the magnetic head is positioned in an unload position. A permanent magnet is provided on the first yoke and a coil is provided on the second yoke. When the second yoke is moved to a first position, the head arm is elastically bent by a pressing force exerted by the contacting member so that the magnetic head is positioned in an unload position. When the second yoke is moved to a second position, the contacting member is apart from the head arm so that the magnetic head is in a load position. The second yoke is maintained in either the first position or the second position by the attracting force generated by the permanent magnet.
