    摘要: A loading unit for a disc cartridge includes a cartridge holder movably supported relative to a chassis. The cartridge holder is moved towards a recording and/or reproducing device for recording and/or reproducing information signals on or from a recording medium housed within the disc cartridge. The cartridge holder is configured to hold the disc cartridge inserted therein and has an engaging recess and an insertion detector. The insertion detector is moved in response to the disc cartridge being inserted into the cartridge holder. A stop mounted on the cartridge holder has a retention portion for retention by the chassis and an engaging protrusion for engagement with the engaging recess of the disc cartridge. The stop is slidingly contacted with the chassis in conjunction with movement of the cartridge holder towards the recording and/or reproducing device. The stop is inhibited from movement by the insertion detector when a disc cartridge is not inserted into the cartridge holder and the retention portion is engaged by the chassis. The stop is released from inhibition of movement when the disc cartridge is inserted into the cartridge holder and the insertion detector is moved, thereby disengaging the retention portion from the chassis, whereby the stop engages the engaging protrusion with the engaging recess in the disc cartridge.

    摘要: In a laminated glass, a plastic film is sandwiched between two sheets of resin intermediate film, and an infrared reflective film is formed in the plastic film by alternatively laminating resin films of different refractive indexes. The plastic film on which the infrared reflective film is formed meets any of the following conditions: (A) thermal shrinkage of 0.5 to 3% in the 90 through 150° C. temperature range, (B) modulus of elasticity in the range of 30 through 2000 MPa in a temperature range of 90 through 150° C., and (C) a rate of elongation of the plastic film of 0.3% or less when 10 N tensile force per 1 m width of the plastic film is exerted in the 90 through 150° C. temperature range. This laminated glass is a curved infrared ray reflective laminated glass, with high transmissivity to visible light, high reflectivity in the infrared ray region, excellent insulating effect, and will transmit various electromagnetic waves.

    摘要: A recording and/or reproducing apparatus for a magneto-optical recording medium housed within a disc cartridge. The recording and/or reproducing unit includes a magnetic head for applying a perpendicular magnetic field to the magneto-optical recording medium. A transporting unit includes a holding section for holding the inserted disc cartridge and a pair of cam members for moving the holding section in horizontal and vertical directions in a casing. The cam members are moved a first horizontal displacement as a result of insertion of the disc cartridge and set a driving unit into an operating state. The cam members cause the holding section to be moved in the horizontal direction by a second horizontal displacement of the cam members. The cam members cause the holding section to be loaded on the recording and/or reproducing unit by a third horizontal displacement continuous with the second horizontal displacement.

    摘要: The invention relates to a transparent coating on a transparent glass pane which may be a laminated glass pane such as an automobile windshield. The present invention provides a two-layer coating including a first layer which is a transparent oxide film in direct contact with the major surface of the glass substrate and a second layer which is a transparent oxide film. The first layer has a thickness of 70-230 nm and a refractive index of 1.80-2.10 and includes a major portion and a minor portion which is exposed and adapted to be used as a combiner of a head-up display system. The second layer is formed on the major portion of the first layer so as to expose the minor portion of the first layer. The second layer has a thickness of 110-130 nm and a refractive index of 1.40-1.50. An additional film is optionally formed on the minor portion of the first layer so as to fully or partly cover the minor portion. The additional layer is adapted to be used as a wavelength-selective combiner of the head-up display system. The two-layer coating except the minor portion is adapted to be used as a reflectance reducing coating. To reduce the reflectance of perpendicularly incident light the two-layer coating can be modified into a three-layer coating by interposing another oxide film.

    摘要: The invention relates to a transparent coating on a transparent glass pane which may be a laminated glass pane such as an automobile windshield. The invention provides a two-layer coating made up of a first oxide film, e.g. a TiO.sub.2 -SiO.sub.2 mixed oxide film, which is in contact with the glass pane and has a thickness of 70-100 nm and a refractive index of 1.80-1.90 and an outer second oxide film, e.g. a SiO.sub.2 film, which has a thickness of 110-130 nm and a refractive index of 1.40-1.50. With respect to visible light obliquely incident on the coating side of the glass pane at an angle of 50-70 degrees with the normal, the reflectance of the coated glass pane becomes lower than that of the glass pane without coating by 4.5-6.5%. To reduce the reflectance of perpendicularly incident light the two-layer coating can be modified into a three-layer coating by interposing another oxide film, e.g. a TiO.sub.2 film, having a thickness of 130-160 nm and a refractive index of 2.05-2.30 between the above described first and second oxide films. The three-layer coating is nearly equivalent to the two-layer coating in the ability to reduce the reflectance of obliquely incident light.
