摘要: A radio frequency (RF) circuit for a ring antenna array element includes first and second feed elements, and a conductive element disposed between the first and second feed elements. The first and second feed elements are electrically couplable to a conductive resonator for a frequency band. The first feed element is configured to conduct an electromagnetic current. The conductive element is configured to resonate outside the frequency band to reduce cross-coupling between the first feed element and the second feed element due to the electromagnetic current.

摘要: An antenna structure includes a metal housing, a first feed portion, a first ground portion, a second ground portion, and a radiator. The metal housing includes a front frame, a backboard, and a side frame. The side frame defines a slot and the front frame defines a gap. The metal housing is divided into at least a long portion and a short portion by the slot and the gap. One end of the first feed portion is electrically connected to the long portion for feeding current to the long portion and another end of the first feed portion is electrically connected to the backboard. The first and second ground portions are both electrically connected to the long portion for grounding the long portion. The radiator is positioned in the metal housing, electrically connected to the backboard, and is spaced apart from the short portion.

摘要: An electronic device such as a wristwatch may have a housing with metal portions such as metal sidewalls. The housing may form an antenna ground for an antenna. An antenna resonating element for the antenna may be formed from a stack of capacitively coupled component layers such as a display layer, touch sensor layer, and near-field communications antenna layer at a front face of the device. An additional antenna may be formed from a peripheral resonating element that runs along a peripheral edge of the device and the antenna ground. A rear face antenna may be formed using a wireless power receiving coil as a radio-frequency antenna resonating element or may be formed from metal antenna traces on a plastic support for light-based components.

The PCB antenna includes a second PCB substrate that is affixed to a first side of the first PCB substrate, and includes a second conductive pattern formed on the second PCB substrate, where the second conductive pattern comprises an antenna ground connection, and an antenna feed connection. The antenna ground connection and the antenna feed connect, through substrate material, to a first end of the antenna radiator of the first PCB substrate.

摘要: A re-reconfigurable built-in antenna of a portable terminal is provided. The antenna includes an antenna radiator having a feeding pad electrically connected to a feeding portion of a main board of the terminal and at least one ground pad disposed in a position different from that of the feeding pad for selectively establishing an electrical connection to a ground portion of the terminal, and a switching element, commonly connected to the at least one ground pad of the antenna radiator, for selectively establishing an electrical connection to the ground portion by a switching operation. The antenna radiator changes a shape of the antenna radiator by using the selective electrical connection of the ground portion so as to have various operational frequency bands and radiation properties.
