    摘要: An installation tool for inserting a helical threaded insert into a tapped hole includes a driving mechanism, a series of mandrels and a series of head tubes. When a user wants to rebuild a broken tapped hole, the user can choose one mandrel and a related head tube with suitable size for rebuilding the broken tapped hole. Furthermore, a special threaded hole is defined in the head tube to reduce the size of the helical threaded insert for matching the broken tapped hole so that the user can rebuild the tapped hole easily.

    摘要: A manufacturing method of a helical core for a rotating electrical machine includes: first step forming a yoke portion extending along one direction and tooth portions protruding toward a width direction of the yoke portion from a first side edge of the width direction, with respect to a belt-shaped metal plate extending along the one direction; second step forming a notch at a position between tooth portions of the yoke portion after the first step; and third step processing the belt-shaped metal plate into a helical shape by applying bending to the metal plate so that the belt-shaped metal plate is curved toward the width direction sequentially from a portion where the notch is formed after the second step, and in the third step, a distance between a position where the application of bending starts and the position where the notch is formed is limited to within a predetermined dimension.

    摘要: To provide an insertion tool for a tangless spiral coil insert that is simple in structure and is also easy to manufacture and assemble, as compared with a conventional tool, accordingly that allows reduction in manufacturing cost, and besides that is excellent in operability.An insertion tool 1 for a tangless spiral coil insert includes, for inserting a tangless spiral coil insert 100 into a work, a mandrel 43 at least a leading end section of which is a screw shaft 45, and a pivotal claw 80 provided with a claw section 81 which engages with a notch 101 of an end coil section of the tangless spiral coil insert 100 screwed with the screw shaft 45. The pivotal claw 80 has an elastic connection member 83 one end of which is fixed to a pivotal-claw attachment groove 71, and the other end of which is attached to the claw section 81, and the elastic connection member 83 biases the claw section 81 outside in a radial direction of the screw shaft 45, so that a hook section 90 formed in the claw section 81 elastically engages with the notch 101 of the tangless spiral coil insert 100.

    摘要: A prewinder apparatus attached to a drive tool to install helical coil inserts includes an adapter attached to the drive tool. A rotatable tubular sleeve in the adapter is engaged with the tool drive and has opposed engagement walls of a longitudinal slot extending through a hollow portion. A mandrel has a threaded first end and a pin transversely extending from a second end positioned within the longitudinal slot. A stop slides within the adapter member and rotatably receives the sleeve. The stop has a plurality of external threads. A stop regulator rotatably disposed in the adapter member has internal threads engaged with the stop external threads. The stop is axially displaceable within the adapter member and infinitely positionable along the stop external threads by manually rotating the stop regulator. A ball or male detent member biased to engage detent cavities of the stop regulator provides predetermined stop axial displacement.

    摘要: A tool for installing a helical coil insert in a tapped hole formed in a workpiece includes a tubular body having a bore extending along its axis, a mandrel coaxially disposed in the bore of the tubular body, a motor for rotating the mandrel, and an air cylinder for applying an axial force to the mandrel. The tubular body includes a recess at one end for carrying a helical coil insert in alignment with the bore. An opening in the tubular body allows a user access to the recess. The tubular body is moveable to position the helical coil into selective engagement with the mandrel, whereby rotation of the mandrel installs the helical coil insert a selected depth in the tapped hole of the workpiece. In addition, the mandrel slides axially within the bore of the tubular body to remove the tang from the helical coil insert upon installation of the helical coil insert in the tapped hole.

    摘要: A single component tool for installing a threaded insert with locking keys in a tapped bore. The tool has no moving parts and enables simultaneous driving of the locking keys into the tapped bore, flush with the upper edge of the threaded insert in the tapped bore. The tool has a pilot that is inserted into the inner bore of the insert and a plurality of tool keyways for receiving the locking keyways of the insert. Bores are provided in one face of the tool for retaining and aligning the locking-keys while the keys are driven into the tapped bore. A timing mark provided on the tool aids in aligning the tool to simultaneously drive the locking keys flush with the upper edge of the threaded insert.
