摘要： A protective base lens configured for attachment to the visor or face shield of a helmet upon which protective tear-away lenses may be mounted. The protective base lens includes an elongated flexible clear transparent sheet with apertures at each end with post member fasteners being reversibly secured within the apertures. A pressure sensitive adhesive is affixed to the bottom surface at each end of the transparent sheet to attach the protective base lens to the helmet visor. One or more tear-away lenses operationally engage the post member fasteners and are reversibly mounted to the top surface of the transparent sheet. The protective base lens being designed and configured to be used with or without tear-away protective lenses.

摘要： A stack of laminated transparent lenses consists of two alternating optically clear materials in intimate contact. The materials are a plastic lens and clear adhesive. The adhesive is uninterrupted. The lens and the adhesive have refraction mismatch of less than 0.2. A tab portion is part of each lens acts as an aid in peeling away the outermost lens after contamination of the lens layer during racing conditions. The lens stack can be mounted to the posts on the face shield or laminated directly to a windshield.

摘要： A helmet includes a windscreen with a housing for holding a windscreen wiper device being positioned in a chin portion of the helmet. A motive power fitting is provided for a windscreen wiper head and a windscreen wiper rod. The motive power fitting is fixed inside a casing. The windscreen wiper rod coordinates with a fixing axle with one side of the windscreen wiper rod being connected to the conveying portion of the motive power and the other side of the windscreen wiper rod being connected to the windscreen wiper head. The windscreen wiper device on the windscreen wiper head is tightly fixed on the protection windscreen on the protection helmet. The windscreen wiper device includes a power supply with the output being connected to the motive power device. The helmet may be used by a driver on a rainy or foggy day for increasing safety during such weather.

摘要： An upstanding helmet window panel has a pressurized fluid manifold extending along the upper margin of the window panel including longitudinally spaced spray jet outlet structure for spray discharging fluid from the manifold onto the upper margin of the window panel at an acute angle relatively thereto. A combination of cleaning liquid (water) and gas (air) is supplied to the manifold under pressure and the water and air are discharged from the jet outlet structures in a pulsating manner with the pulsating discharges of water serving to increase the cleaning action on the window panel and forming a layer of water flowing over the panel and the pulsating discharges of air serving to form a curtain of air over the layer of water on the window to smooth out and maintain a generally constant thickness of the water layer and thus increase visibility therethrough.

摘要： Washing apparatus for cleaning the lenses of goggles, worn by a motorcyclist during a muddy race, is mounted on the forward portion of a duck bill visor to jet spray cleaning liquid onto the goggles to clear the lenses of mud. An oval tank of cleaning liquid is pressurized with air and supported on the front fork of the cycle, there being a flexible tube extending from the tank, up the sleeve of the rider and thence along the helmet to the jet spray on the visor. A finger actuated control valve and a breakaway are incorporated into the tube.

摘要： For maintaining visibility through transparent protective eye and face shield attached to a helmet a series of like thin transparent auxiliary lenses form a compact series of transparent neighboring sheets, each sheet with grasping ear portions; all sheets except the most peripheral have an extensible tab elastically compressed between a lateral portion of adjacent sheets so that only the most peripheral of the series connected to the shield of the helmet extends laterally whereby a finger hole therein is selectively available for engagement by the operator for rapid and firm removal thereof when the exterior surface of the most exterior of the series becomes muddy, scratched or otherwise damaged.
