Abstract: An apparatus, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a tail lamp housing including a first cutout, a body panel including a second cutout, and at least one light source positioned to transmit light through the first and second cutouts to illuminate a cargo surface. A method according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, providing a cargo member that is moveable between an open position and a closed position and mounting at least one tail lamp adjacent to the cargo member, wherein the tail lamp includes a first cutout. The method further includes forming a second cutout in a body panel and transmitting light through the first and second cutouts to illuminate a cargo surface when the cargo member is in the open position.

Abstract: An electrical connection device connects to a sectional door, the sectional door having a plurality of connected panels which roll along left and right tracks which are connected to a structure, the sectional door is positionable to a closed position and to an open position. The electrical connection device includes a slide which carries a reciprocating electric contactor. A housing has a slot, a proximal end and an opposite distal end. The slide slides along the slot in the housing. A spring in the housing biases the slide toward the distal end of the housing. The housing is connectable to either the left track or to the right track of the sectional door.

Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode comprising an organic layer sequence, a radiation exit area and an encapsulation. The organic layer sequence comprises at least one radiation-emitting region which generates electromagnetic radiation in the spectral range from infrared radiation to UV radiation during operation. The radiation exit area is structured, so that the electromagnetic radiation has a directional emission profile. The encapsulation forms a seal of the organic layer sequence against environmental influences.

Abstract: An illuminated engine cover assembly including an engine attachment system and an illuminated engine cover is disclosed. The illuminated engine cover assembly comprises an attachment element attached to the engine and an illuminated engine cover composed of polymerized foam. The illuminated engine cover has a recessed area and a receptacle for releasable attachment to the engine attachment element. An illuminated feature is attached to the cover's recessed area. A contact element is fitted within the receptacle. A flexible printed circuit for providing contact between the illuminated feature and the contact element of the receptacle is embedded within the engine cover. A support lattice is optionally embedded within the cover. The support lattice has ends and an intermediate portion to which the illuminated feature is attached. Grommets are attached to each end of the support lattice. The releasable attachment receptacles are formed in the grommets.
