Abstract:
The invention relates to a transport container comprising a rectangular base, with feet located at the underside thereof, with side walls that can pivot about hinges and that rise from said base, wherein the side walls, which lie on top in the folded-together state, and the bordering base edge comprising the hinges form support surfaces for the feet of an identical second container, the feet thereof being located below the base, characterized in that recesses are provided in the left and the right side area of the side walls, which lie on top in the folded-together state, the recesses being separated from one another by ribs and being used to receive protrusions formed on the bottom side of the feet, the height of the protrusions being less than the depth of the recesses.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is drawn to a multi-chamber container and related methods for storing and mixing liquids and associated methods of use. The multi-chamber container includes a first chamber configured to contain a first liquid composition. The multi-chamber container also includes a second chamber configured to contain a second liquid composition. The multi-chamber container further includes a barrier operable to separate the first chamber and the second chamber. Additionally, the multi-chamber container includes a compliant mechanism movable between a first position and a second position and a plunger movable with the compliant mechanism to alter or remove the barrier. In the first position, the barrier is operable to maintain the first liquid composition and the second liquid composition separate from one another. In the second position, the plunger is operable to alter or remove the barrier to facilitate contact of the first liquid composition and the second liquid composition.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention include food packages and related methods. In an embodiment, the invention includes a food package. The food package can include an exterior sealing enclosure, an interior barrier, the interior barrier separating the first compartment and the second adjacent compartment, a first food component, and a second food component. The exterior sealing enclosure can include a first compartment, a second adjacent compartment, a top, a bottom, a first side, and a second side. The interior barrier can be frangible through manual manipulation by a consumer without rupturing the exterior sealing enclosure. In an embodiment, the invention includes a method of packaging food components. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Abstract:
Device for the preservation of substances to be kept separate until their application includes a container (2), which is provided with an at least partially deformable body (6), and a delivery mouth (4), on which there is provided a delivery element for delivering the mixture. A watertight chamber (5) is arranged between the delivery mouth and the body of the container and is provided with a connection mouth (12) for the connection to the body (6), which is closed by cap means (20). A component of the substance to be delivered is contained in the watertight chamber (5), whereas another component is contained in the body (6). The communication between the two components is established by removing said cap, by interference between the walls of the cap and the walls of the body.
Abstract:
A sclerosing embolizing hydrogel comprising from about 0.1% by weight to about 4.0% by weight of chitosan; from about 0.01M to about 1M of hydrochloric acid; from 0% by volume to about 40% by volume of iopamidol; from 0.5% by weight to about 25% by weight of β-glycerophosphate disodium salt; and from about 0.05% by weight to about 4% by weight of sodium tetradecyl sulphate. Also a kit for synthesizing the hydrogel and a method using the hydrogel to treat a vascular defect in a subject.
Abstract:
A proppant storage vessel has a first container with an interior volume, and a second container supported in spaced relation above the first container. The first container has a bottom hatch affixed to a bottom wall thereof. The bottom hatch is movable between an open position and a closed position. The first container has an opening at a top wall thereof. The second container has bottom hatch formed on a bottom wall thereof. The bottom hatch of the second container is aligned with the opening of the first container such that a proppant in the second container can flow through the hatch thereof into the interior volume of the first container. Each of the containers includes first, second, third and fourth inclined surfaces positioned in the interior volume and extending from the respective side walls and end walls thereof toward the bottom hatch.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments of disclosure relate to packaging for separately storing, and subsequently mixing, multiple components. The packaging includes a container formed from a first wall and an opposing second wall, wherein a closure splits this container in a leak-proof manner, into a first chamber and a second chamber within said container. The closure is formed from a closure piece arranged on the first wall and a closure counterpiece arranged on the opposing second wall, one part of a spatula forming this closure piece or closure counterpiece. Such a spatula can separate the two chambers from one another as part of the closure system, is always available, and cannot be lost. Furthermore, as a result of its shape, it can be used to mix and administer the contents of the chambers, and to process/apply the mixed multi-component composition.
Abstract:
A proppant storage vessel has a container having a first end wall, a second end wall, a first side wall, a second side wall, a top wall and a bottom wall. The first and second end walls extend between opposite ends of the first and second side walls. The walls define an interior volume of the container. The walls have a rigidity suitable for retaining no less than 30,000 pounds of proppant therein. A top hatch is formed centrally on the top wall and is movable between an open position and a closed position. A bottom hatch is formed generally centrally on the bottom wall of the container and is movable between an open position and a closed position.
Abstract:
A container for medical products has at least one chamber. At least two lyophilized active substances and/or auxiliary substances are jointly present in the at least one chamber.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is drawn to a multi-chamber container and related methods for storing and mixing liquids and associated methods of use. The multi-chamber container includes a first chamber configured to contain a first liquid composition. The multi-chamber container also includes a second chamber configured to contain a second liquid composition. The multi-chamber container further includes a membrane separating the first liquid composition and the second liquid composition. The membrane is puncturable to facilitate contact of the first liquid composition and the second liquid composition. Additionally, the multi-chamber container includes a plunger operable to puncture the membrane. The plunger can be configured to move through an opening of the first chamber opposite the membrane to facilitate puncture of the membrane.
