    摘要： A peelable seal includes four layers. The first layer includes first and second alternating ribs. The first ribs comprise a first material, and the second ribs comprise a second material. The first material bonds well with the closure profiles. The second material bonds well with the third and fourth layers. The first material does not bond well with the second material. Thus, the bond strength is lower between the first and second ribs and between the third and fourth ribs than between the first and third ribs and the closure profiles and between the second and fourth ribs and the third and fourth layers. In this process, the strength of the peelable seal is controlled during the extrusion process rather than being subjected to the variations in the manufacturing process. Alternatively, the peelable seal includes six layers. The first and second layers bond well with the closure profiles. The third and fourth layers bond well with the fifth and sixth layers. The first layer does not bond well with the third layer and the second layer does not bond well with the fourth layer. Thus, the bond strength is lower between the first and third layers and between the second and fourth layers.

    摘要： A wrapper for a floral grouping wherein the wrapper is a sleeve or sheet of material having a cinching tab or strip of bonding material or both and a detaching means such as perforations for detaching a portion of the sleeve or sheet of material. The floral grouping is placed on the sheet of material which is wrapped thereabout, or the floral grouping is disposed in the interior space of the sleeve. The cinching tab is attached near one end of the sheet or sleeve. The cinching tab has a bonding material disposed thereon which, when the cinching tab is pulled tightly about the wrapper, causes the wrapper to be crimped and tightly bound about the stems of the floral grouping. When a sheet or sleeve having a strip of bonding material is used, the portion of the wrapper having the strip of bonding material is crimped manually or automatically about a portion of the stems of the floral grouping causing portions of the wrapper to overlap and bond to each other causing the wrapper to be held firmly about the stems of the floral grouping. The wrapper may further comprise an additional strip of bonding material for bonding an informational card or label to the wrapper. After the wrapper is wrapped about the floral grouping, a portion of the wrapper may be removed, thereby leaving a portion of the wrapper wrapped or bound about the floral grouping.

    摘要： A closure arrangement for a polymeric bag has a pair of opposing films joined at a fold line and perforated along the fold line. The arrangement includes a base strip, a pair of heat-resistant strips, and a peelable strip composed of peelable material. The base strip has opposing inner and outer surfaces, and the outer surface of the base strip is securably arranged with respect to one of the pair of opposing films of the polymeric bag. The pair of heat-resistant strips are securably arranged to the inner surface of the base strip, and are spaced from each other so as to form a gap therebetween. The peelable strip includes a first portion having opposing first and second surfaces and a stem portion extending perpendicular to the first surface of the top portion. The stem portion extends into the gap between the pair of heat-resistant strips and is arranged with respect to the inner surface of the base strip. Various other closure arrangements are also disclosed.
