    摘要: A rail fastening device comprises a clip (10) having a base (11) and a nose (12) for engaging a rail flange (F). The base (11) comprises circular aperture (14) in which a circular cam (13) is rotatably mounted, the cam (13) being provided with an eccentric aperture (24) for receiving a ground anchor (25), the cam aperture (24) being radially offset from the rotational centre of the cam (13) to define a cam lobe (15). The cam (13) may comprise a ramped circumferential shoulder (18) to engage a complementary shoulder (21) inside the base aperture (14) such that any rotation of the cam (13) under the applied load of the rail causes the cam (13) to move axially of the base aperture (14) thereby tightening the engagement of the anchor (25) on the cam (13) and preventing movement of the clip (10). The degree of rotation of the cam (13) may be limited so that it can only turn in the tightening direction under load.

    摘要: A rail fastening device (100) comprises a lower plate (11) and an upper plate (12) provided with a pair of clips (13) for engaging the rail 16, the upper plate (12) being fastened to the lower plate (11) by a pair of fastening bolts (19) which extend through respective apertures (20) in the upper plate (12), the fastening bolts (19) being slidably mounted to the lower plate (11) for movement in a direction which, in use, extends transverse the rail (16). A jacking bolt (31) is arranged to lift the upper plate away from the lower plate as the bolt (31) is tightened and vice-versa. An alignment bolt extends 33 laterally between the upper and lower plates (11), (12) and is rotatable to displace the upper plate (12) laterally relative to the lower plate (11). A levelling bolt (102) threadably engaged with the lower plate is arranged to lift the lower plate (11) away from the surface on which the device (100) is seated as the bolt (102) is tightened and vice-versa.

    摘要: A combination of a guiding plate for laterally supporting a rail and a wedge element for adjusting the position of the rail relative to a counter-bearing, on which the guiding plate is supported. The guiding plate has an end face which is associated with the wedge element and which extends in the longitudinal direction and a lower side associated with a substrate. Between the guiding plate and the wedge element is a positive-locking guide along which the wedge element can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the end face of the guiding plate. The guide between the wedge element may act as one joining partner and the guiding plate may act as another joining partner wherein, in one of the joining partners, there is formed a slot-like guide orientated along this joining partner and the projection of the other joining partner engages in a positive-locking manner.

A welded platform base with a raised haunch for locating the mounting bolt can be used to transfer lateral loads from the rail to the raised haunch.

    摘要: A rail clamping device is provided for aligning and clamping the flange of a rail to a support surface. A slotted clip is fitted over an anchor bolt or other suitable connector, a plate cam washer having an eccentric hole is placed upon the clip, and a nut threaded upon the bolt to secure the clip and washer to the rail flange. The clip has a slotted base portion which slidably engages the support surface in a loose condition and bears upon the support surface in a clamped condition. An abutment portion extends from the base perpendicular to the support surface to engage the outer face of the rail flange. A cantilever portion extends forwardly from the abutment portion and has a bottom surface to which a synthetic rubber strip is bonded to engage the upper surface of the flange to clamp the flange to the supporting surface. The cam washer slidably engages the top surface of the base portion in a loose condition. The cam washer has an outer flank for engaging a rearward face of the abutment portion. Preferably, the cam washer has a spiral cam profile such that the angular rotation of the washer upon the bolt results in substantially proportional lateral movement of the clip and abutting rail flange. The rail flange may be aligned by rotation of the cam washers of devices on opposing sides of the rail when in a loose condition and then clamped securely in place by rotation of the nut.

A top pressing spring engages the top surface of the rail flange for holding the rail against the tie. One end of the spring is supported beneath a shoulder on the metal spike. A side spring is inserted between the side of the rail flange and the spring receiver to receive transverse pressure working on the rail.
