    摘要: A bead flow sensor module includes a housing, a beam, and a sensor. The beam extends into a flow channel of the housing through which a flow of beads and compressed air flows. The sensor outputs a signal indicative of bead impacts on the beam. A system incorporating the bead flow sensor module includes a compressed air source, a bead hopper, and a bead dispenser. The compressed air source delivers a flow of compressed air to the bead hopper. A flow of beads carried by the compressed air discharges from the bead hopper along a flow pathway connecting the bead hopper to the bead dispenser. The bead flow sensor module positioned along the flow pathway outputs the signal from which a bead flow volume through the bead dispenser is determined.

    摘要: In an example, a surface marking robot comprises a body, a print apparatus comprising a plurality of print nozzles mounted on the body, a position detection apparatus to determine a position of the robot, and a motion control system, to cause the robot to travel along the surface with an intended path. The print apparatus may be to deposit print material onto the surface from a first nozzle of the plurality of nozzles to form a line as the robot follows the intended path and upon detection by the position detection apparatus that the position of the robot has deviated from the intended path, the motion control system may be to perform a correction to a direction of travel of the robot such that the robot returns to the intended path; and the print apparatus may be to deactivate the first nozzle and activate a second nozzle of the plurality of nozzles, wherein the second nozzle may be chosen such that a distance between the first and second nozzles is to compensate for a deviation of the robots position from the intended path.

    摘要: A line striper having a spray control system includes a spray gun, a lever, first and second cables, a manual actuator, and an assisted control. The lever is configured to move between a spray position and an inactive position. The first cable is mechanically linked to the lever. The manual control is mechanically linked to the first cable and configured to pull the first cable rearward to move the lever into the spray position. The second cable is mechanically linked to the lever. The assisted control is configured to pull the second cable rearward to move the lever into the spray position. The lever is independently moveable relative to the first and second cables such that movement of the lever caused by the first cable does not compress the second cable and movement of the lever caused by the second cable does not compress the first cable.

    摘要: The invention relates to a ground surface marker and method for surface marking. It is known to apply surface markings, for example road markings, using paint. Many current road marking paints have a touch dry time from about five minutes to one hour, with full drying taking 24 hours or more, depending on the air temperature. The dry time of current paints can delay the opening of a road which may be costly because it increases the need for traffic control and can expose contractors to motoring hazards. If roads are opened prior to full drying of the paint, then the road markings may be compromised by contact with vehicle wheels. The invention aims to go at least some way toward addressing these problems by providing a ground surface marker comprising a paint applicator, a dispenser associated with reflectors, and a UV light source.
