摘要: A material applicator for controlling application of at least one material on a substrate includes a housing and an array plate with an applicator array positioned within the housing. The applicator array has a plurality of micro-applicators and each of the plurality of micro-applicators has an ultrasonic transducer, a material inlet, a reservoir, and a micro-applicator plate with a plurality of apertures. The applicator plate is in mechanical communication with the ultrasonic transducer such that at least one material is ejected through the plurality of apertures as atomized droplets when the ultrasonic transducer vibrates the micro-applicator plate.

摘要: An extensible pesticide applicator is provided enabling application of both liquid and powdered insecticides to distal, out-of-reach areas. An extensible pole has a distal and a proximal end for manual wielding whereby a pair of nozzles is deployable proximal an out-of-reach habitat. Pressurization of ambient atmosphere into the extensible pole is enabled by a pump member and timed release of the pressurized ambient atmosphere to forcibly eject powdered and alternately liquid pesticide from the distal end is enabled by manual action effected to depress a trigger member. Direct application of pesticide is thereby enabled to distal and out-of-reach habitat without a user coming into proximity with the habitat or the pesticide released.

摘要: The new invention uses a ground-based heavy payload ground vehicle, trailer, or fixed ground station to deliver agriculture chemical, power and control signals to a hinged, ground-mounted, lightweight propeller lift, boom truss module using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) technology to unload and suspend multiple boom truss modules, extending out to cover a large spray area. This is the newest, most practical invention that is low cost and easy to use. The total weight of each suspension boom truss modules is less than 10 kilograms and can be completely unloaded by motor-driven propellers. The suspended boom truss module is hinged on the ground vehicle, trailer or ground station. It is not necessary to apply for a flight permit from the FAA. In the field, the propeller and toxic pesticides are fixed on the suspension boom truss module and hazards can be controlled to a minimum for personnel safety.

摘要: A method of controlling application of material onto a substrate includes ejecting atomized droplets from an array of micro-applicators while the array of micro-applicators cyclically moves about at least one axis. The atomized droplets from each of the plurality of micro-applicators overlap with atomized droplets from adjacent micro-applicators and a diffuse overlap of deposited atomized droplets from adjacent micro-applicators is provided on a surface of the substrate. The array of micro-applicators cyclically rotates back and forth around the at least one axis and/or moves back and forth parallel to the at least one axis. For example, the at least one axis can be a central axis of the array of micro-applicators, a length axis of the array of micro-applicators, a width axis of the array of micro-applicators, and the like. Also, the array of micro-applicators can be part of an ultrasonic material applicator used to paint vehicles.
