    Abstract: A valet vault is described herein. The valet vault may be constructed with components that result in improved strength and prevent theft. In one example embodiment, the vault may comprise a service side, an attachment side, and four exterior sides, a lockable utility box, a secured storage area being accessible through a door where a hinged end of the door is pivotally connected to a door frame by at least one hinge, and a security plate substantially separating the secured storage area and the lockable utility box. The vault may comprise a catch/latch to stop the door. The vault may comprise an illuminatable sign that does not compromise the security of the secured storage area. The door may comprise reinforcements. The vault may be a podium or be coupled to a wall.

    Abstract: A skateboard storage assembly includes a storage housing that includes an access opening extending into an interior of the storage housing for having a skateboard extended therethrough. A door is hingedly coupled to the storage housing and the door is aligned with the access opening for opening and closing the access opening. A locking unit is coupled to the storage housing to lock the door. A carousel is rotatably positioned within the storage housing and the carousel has a plurality of storage spaces each integrated therein to receive a skateboard for storage. A dispensing unit is integrated into the storage housing for controlling the carousel to facilitate the user to either insert or remove their skateboard from the respective storage space.

    Abstract: A system for controlling access to a secure room containing a plurality of safety deposit boxes comprises a motion detector, a biometric sensor, and a plurality of contact sensors, wherein each of the safety deposit boxes is associated with at least two contact sensors. The system includes a processor that is configured to unlock the gate when a plurality of access conditions are satisfied, which may include: collecting via the biometric sensor a biometric credential that matches a reference biometric credential in a user database; and determining the secure room is unoccupied based on at least a predetermined period of no motion detected by the at least one motion sensor. The processor may also be configured to generate a box-accessed event identifying one of the safety deposit boxes when all of the contact sensors associated with that safety deposit box are simultaneously open.
