Abstract: Provided is a linear solenoid valve having at least one notch that opens on an end surface of the land of the spool on the drain chamber side and is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the land. Abstract: An interlocked single function activation valve for hydraulic systems is disclosed. The hydraulic valve prevents unsafe tie-down or safety override situations by requiring the safety mechanism to be reset each time the hydraulic system is used. The hydraulic valve includes an interlock spool that moves to an extension position when the hydraulic system is de-pressurized and then re-pressurized while the control lever is engaged (i.e., tied down). When the interlock spool is in the extension position, it prevents the system from reaching a working pressure, thereby forcing a reset of the control lever before the system can reach working pressure.

Abstract: A first flow path area at a position where one of multiple openings of a sleeve and one of multiple grooves of a spool overlap with each other is different in size from a second flow path area at a position where another one of the openings of the sleeve and another one of the grooves of the spool overlap with each other. The one opening and the one groove form a flow path for connecting one of one pressure chamber and the other pressure chamber to a fluid supply source, due to displacement of the spool. The other opening and the other groove form a flow path for connecting another one of the other pressure chamber and the one pressure chamber to a fluid discharge port, due to the displacement of the spool.

Abstract: A hydraulic control valve unit includes an input port hydraulically coupled to a pump, a working port hydraulically coupled to the working load, and a return port connected to a hydraulic tank. The unit includes a control slide movable into different working positions in an axial direction for controlling a hydraulic flow between the hydraulic ports and a slide housing surrounding the control slide. The control slide includes a control segment which is delimited in the axial direction by a control edge, and cooperates with an axial housing segment of the slide housing for controlling a flow cross section for hydraulic flow at the control segment. The control slide is rotationally driven about an axis of rotation in a rotational direction. The control edge of the control segment or the housing segment cooperating with the control segment is designed such that the flow cross section has a different size depending on a rotational position of the control slide.

Abstract: A fuel system for a gas turbine engine includes a secondary flow lockout valve. The secondary flow lockout valve includes a valve body having a first end that defines an inlet and a second end. The valve body includes at least one primary outlet bore and at least one secondary outlet bore. The valve body defines a channel in fluid communication with the primary outlet bore. The secondary flow lockout valve includes a cover that cooperates with the second end of the valve body to define a chamber. The chamber is in fluid communication with the channel such that the valve body is movable between at least a first position in which the primary outlet bore is open and a second position in which both the primary outlet bore and the secondary outlet bore are open based on a pressure in the chamber.
