摘要： An electronic trigger lock which contains a back plate which blocks access to the trigger from one side of a firearm. This back plate has a member extending from it which contains a first series of ratchet teeth. Next, an electronic portion of the electronic trigger guard is provided to block access to the other side of the trigger. This electronic portion is contained within an outer housing. A user interface is located on the exterior of the outer housing for entering information into the electronic trigger lock. This interface may be comprised of translucent colored buttons. Also, this user interface is illuminated. The outer housing has an opening for receiving the member extending from the back plate. This opening contains a second series of ratchet teeth which are adapted to engage the first series of ratchet teeth on the member. A solenoid is located inside the outer housing to enable the release of the first series of ratchet teeth from the second series of ratchet teeth. Finally, a processor, internal to the outer housing, is provided for energizing the solenoid upon receiving a predefined code from the user interface.

Lock picking is minimized by flexible fingers in the slides that engage the plunger obstructions when the slides are in the plunger passing position to simulate the slide blocking positions as the lock picker tugs the plunger.

摘要： A grip lock assembly for firearms includes a lock having a locked position preventing operation of the firearm, and an unlocked position permitting operation of the firearm. A portion of the lock, when in the locked position, is adapted to operatively engage a portion of the firing mechanism of the firearm to prevent operation of the firearm. The invention is quickly installed by replacing an existing grip of the firearm with grips according to the invention. The invention can be utilized with a number of different types of locks. 摘要： A firearm safety mechanism includes a lock with engagement structure. The engagement structure has a locked position in which the engagement structure operatively engages a portion of the firing mechanism to prevent discharge of the firearm. The engagement structure also has an unlocked position permitting operation of the firing mechanism. The lock includes selection structure permitting movement of the engagement structure from the locked position to the unlocked position upon the reception of a predetermined selection criteria. The firearm can be locked against unauthorized use and unlocked by an authorized user without resort to external accessories.

摘要： A security device for a firearm comprises a pair of covers adapted to be disposed on opposite sides of a firearm trigger guard. One of the covers has an elongate protruding housing containing the latching portion of a latch member and the other cover is formed with an opening in which is disposed a catch member adapted to engage and retain the latching portion when the covers are pressed together with the trigger guard therebetween and with the housing being projected through the trigger guard into the opening. The covers when mutually engaged embrace the trigger guard and prevent operation of the trigger. The latch member may be moved out of engagement with the catch member to release the covers by means of a manual actuator which is controlled by a combination lock contained in the cover which is provided with the latch member. The device may be applied to a range of different firearms.

摘要： A firearm trigger lock assembly for inhibiting a firearm from being fired includes a sleeve that can be positioned around a grip of a firearm. A wedge is coupled to the sleeve thereby facilitating the wedge to be positioned behind a trigger of the firearm when the sleeve is positioned around the grip. A locking unit is coupled to the sleeve and the wedge is removably engaged to the locking unit. The wedge is locked behind the trigger when the locking unit is turned on to inhibit the firearm from being fired. Conversely, the wedge is removable from behind the trigger when the locking unit is turned off to facilitate the firearm to be fired.
