    摘要: A firing mechanism with safety device for firearms, especially sport and hunting rifles and shotguns, with at least one barrel and a firing pin associated therewith and operable by way of a striker member in that the member is movable into an uncocked position, under the influence of the force of a compressed spring, against the firing pin after a trigger lever locking the striker member in a cocked position has been placed into a release position, and with at least one trigger with an associated rocker arm. In order to secure the firearm against unintended firing of shots due to external impact effects, the striker member is fashioned as a slide and is displaceable in the longitudinal direction from a rearward cocked position into a forward uncocked position. The trigger lever has an angled, curved, or like configuration and is arranged at the striker member so that it extends in the longitudinal direction and is pivotable about an axial support in such a way that, in the cocked position, the rear end of the trigger lever is secured by the rocker arm and the front end of the trigger lever rests in the forward direction on a stop fixedly formed within the frame and locks the striker member in the cocked position; this locking action being releasable by freeing the rear end of the trigger lever by way of the trigger-operated rocker arm and pivoting the trigger lever in such a way that the support of its front end at the stop is eliminated.

    摘要: A carbine comprising an improved stock assembly kit combined with a barrel and action assembly of preselected generic style or configuration, preferably that of a U.S. M1 carbine. The improved stock assembly includes a buttstock comprised of opposed concave half-sections which embrace and capture the trigger, receiver and operating slide mechanisms of the barrel and action assembly in upside-down orientation. A trigger assembly is mounted to the barrel forwardly of the buttstock section and is coupled to the trigger mechanism of the barrel and action assembly by a trigger slide which extends through the buttstock section. A forehand stock section is comprised of an opposed pair of stock half-sections which embrace that portion of the trigger assembly which engages the barrel and form a cavity for cooling air surrounding the barrel which extends therethrough. A concial flash hider is captured by the forehand stock sections surrounding the free end of the barrel and cooperates with apertures formed in the forehand stock sections for drawing cooling air into the cavity for cooling the barrel during firing.

    摘要: Apparatus and method of providing for a semi-automatic crossbow embodying a new cocking device and a new magazine. The cocking device consists of a pulley system mounted to the frame of the crossbow and operated by a filament. The crossbow is cocked by holding the grip of the device in one hand, and pulling the cocking handle with the other hand. Each time the crossbow is cocked, a pulley carriage is automatically returned to its original position by use of springs or elastic bands. The device may be fired as quickly as the device may be cocked and trigger pulled. A clip device is utilized to hold bolts to be fired. The bolts are stacked vertically and spring fed upwardly to the chamber each time the crossbow is cocked. The bolts are held in place by constant spring pressure against the bolt track along which the bolt are driven. The clip utilizes two arms that scissor upward and raise the bolts substantially levelly. The invention also incorporates a three (3) piece trigger system with a positive safety, a folding stock a belt clip, and adjustable sights. The entire device may be disassembled with the use of only a screw driver, a pair of pliers, and an allen wrench.

    摘要: A double barrel firearm provides a selector mechanism so that either barrel can be selected to be fired first. A pair of sears is provided cooperating with hammers. The trigger can actuate either sear that has been selected by the selector mechanism for firing either barrel first. The trigger actuates a connector. The connector can actuate the selected sear. Each sear has engagement with a part of the connector whereby when a sear is actuated, it will move the connector rearwardly, the connector being biased forwardly so that it will then come into a more forward position for engagement with the second sear. Even if the barrel selected to be fired first does not fire, the second barrel will be fired on the second pull of the trigger. The connector also serves as an inertia block so it has the capability of responding to inertia to be repositioned for actuating the second sear in the event the first barrel fires in response to the first pull of the trigger.

    摘要: A bowstring draw and trigger release for use with conventional archery bows and the arrows used therewith. The bowstring draw and trigger apparatus provides means for drawing a bowstring taut and releasing same to project the arrow upon the triggering of the apparatus. The bowstring draw and trigger release utilizes a looped draw cord which is disposed about the bowstring and secured by a pivotally mounted holding member. The holding member pivots about a fixed shaft, an end thereof being coupled to the trigger of the apparatus. Actuation of the trigger causes the rotation of a directly coupled member which engages the holding member causing same to rotate forwardly allowing the loop to slide therefrom and thereby release the bowstring. There is a coupling member that directly slidably couples the trigger with the holding member. The respective ends of the coupling member are received between flanges of the trigger and the holding member.

    摘要: This invention relates to a trigger mechanism for rifles wherein a tooth on the hammer engages an opposed cam surface on the sear when the trigger is actuated so as to use the bias of the hammer spring to retract the sear far enough for the tooth to pass by a notch on the latter thus enabling the hammer to strike the firing pin. This same tooth and a notch on the front face of the sear coact upon actuation of the trigger with a controlled release of the hammer to enterengage and lock the hammer in a "half-cock" position before it reaches the firing pin. The sear floats loosely on its pivot and includes another cam surface which coacts with the hammer tooth when the hammer is cocked to move the sear out of the way of the trigger thus permitting the hammer to reach fully-cocked position.
