    摘要: A system for sharing an optical fiber for a cloud-based wired and wireless access network, includes: a centralization device to generate summing signals by respectively summing multi-channel optical signals input from a wireless donor unit group and by summing multi-channel wired signals input from a wired donor unit group or generate wavelength-converted signals by wavelength-converting the multi-channel optical signals or the multi-channel wired signals, multiplex the summing signals or the wavelength-converted signals, and distribute the summing signals or the wavelength-converted signals to a plurality of devices connected to the centralization device via a shared optical fiber; and a distribution device group to generate corresponding optical signals by demultiplexing the summing signals or the wavelength-converted signals in units of wavelengths, and transmit the corresponding optical signals or the multi-channel wired signals to a wireless remote unit group and/or a wired remote unit group via a preset optical fiber.

    摘要: A method for modulating a downhole telemetry signal uses a fluid pressure pulse generator that generates pressure pulses of multiple pulse heights in a drilling fluid. The method comprises: converting measurement data into a bitstream comprising symbols of a selected symbol set; encoding the bitstream into a pressure pulse telemetry signal using a modulation technique that includes amplitude shift keying, wherein each symbol of the selected symbol set is assigned a pressure pulse having a unique amplitude; and generating pressure pulses in the drilling fluid corresponding to the telemetry signal. Alternatively, the method can comprise a modulation technique that includes amplitude shift keying and phase shift keying and wherein each symbol of the selected symbol set is assigned a pressure pulse having a unique combination of amplitude and phase.

    摘要: A system for transmitting a signal through an imperfectly-conducting medium includes a transmitter station and a receiver station. The transmitter station has a transmitter and at least one conductor (electrode). The receiving station has at least one conductor (electrode) and a receiver. The transmitter causes a current to flow from the transmitter conductor to the receiver conductor through the imperfectly-conducting medium. Associated with the current flow is an electric field. Because the current flow varies with the signal, the electric field varies with the signal. The receiving conductor senses the electric field and provides a signal to the receiver which detects the signal to be transmitted. The receiving station then passes the signal to an output device to be output.

    摘要: An underwater communication system comprises a plurality of network nodes for sending and receiving ultrasonic energy through water. In accordance with one aspect, each of the network nodes includes an array of two ultrasonic transducers positioned so as to define a line segment. Each node also includes a transceiver adapted to generate a code element, generate a data element, generate a modulation element, and combine the code element, the data element and the modulation element into an analog waveform. The system is further adapted to transmit the analog waveform through each of the ultrasonic transducers and receive the analog waveform generated by at least one of the network nodes.

    摘要: The system and method for ameliorating the effect of close-in user equipment up to a point where the user equipment itself limits the performance. The system and method utilizes a digital filter in front of the LASER modulator being applied to the LASER. Additionally, total power detectors may be used at input to prevent unwanted signals from overloading stages in front of the LASER. In uplink and downlink directions, bidirectional digital filtering in the RUs allows the selective use of a given RU in a given sub-band, by a given WSP. The use of digital filtering in the RU reduces the need for hardware RF switching at the head end to accomplish the same objective of signal flexibility, by one of more WSPs, providing one or more sectors exists within the DAS.

An exemplary apparatus can include subsea sensors/gauges, batteries to power the sensors/gauges, charging circuits for controlling charging of the batteries, one or more BOP control pods, an RTU, and a subsea wireless connection hub. The hub can include a stationary wheel carrying wireless stationary connection members each electrically connected to a battery and a respective subset of sensors/gauges. The hub can also include a rotatable wheel carrying a single wireless movable connection member configured to provide power to each of the stationary connection members and to receive data from the stationary connection members. A motor is provided to rotate the rotatable wheel to position the mobile connection member in front of a selected one of the stationary connection members.
